Door release button broke
1) Remove three screws on back of microwave, so you can slide the top cover back and remove it. 2) Remove the nut at the top of the control panel with a nut driver or wrench. Pull the control panel out enough to get to the door switch. You don't need to take the panel all the way off or unhook any of the attaching wires to the control panel. 3) Remove the old door switch. It just sits in some guide grooves. There are no fasteners to remove. 4) Put the new switch into the same position as the old one. 5) Verify the door opens when the switch is pressed. 6) Replace front control panel and top cover. 7) Microwave one cup of water and fix yourself a nice cup of tea.

My microwave lost the nylon drive gear for the turntable
I just lifted off the turntable, cleaned spilled food from under it, slipped on the gear, and replaced the turntable.

PartSelect's superb website made finding the model number and the parts diagrams for that model super fast and easy. From there, ordering the part was a snap.

The food residue sealed the door, and the door release button lever snapped.
I pulled the control panel out, slid the door release out of where the tabs held it in, slid the new one into place (noticing the new one had reinforcement where the old one did not), and pushed the control panel back.

Could not open Microwave door
We had to remove the cover on the microwave in order to have access to interior. At that point all we had to do was remove the old part and install the new one. This microwave is in our Motorhome and is 15 years old! We were totally amazed that you had the part available and were able to make the necessary repairs for less than $5.00! In addition to that we had the part in 3 days. Thank you so much for your response time and the availability of the part.

The door release lever broke, and we couldn't open the door.
I removed the microwave from the cabinet. Removed the 3 screws on the rear side to remove the shroud. Next I removed the screw at the top of the touch panel. That allowed me to lift the panel enough to remove the original release handle, and install the new one. Works great!

Door release button broke
Old rotary-timer microwave. Model number worn off. Unplug and discharge capacitor voltage. Remove 3 Phillips screws to slide-back, and off the sheet metal cover. Remove front, control panel retaining screw (inside, top of control panel frame) with small socket (8 mm?). Lift up and pull out panel clearing retaining plastic tabs. No need to disconnect wiring. Wiggle new button in place with pivot tabs resting in the mounting slots. Check door action before reassembling and returning to service. Local parts supply estimated 10 days to order part. Ordered from PS Friday night...received Monday. Great service!
