I was able to find the part on line and within a few days received the part and installed it with no problems thanks to the website drawing information.

took out plastic piece under plate (that was broken) and placed new one in the hole. No tools req'd. Works like new.

Great!! I set the new tray into the microwave and was done! This site has the best service I have ever seen! I'll be back when something else breaks, it is just a matter of time.

All the electrics worked on Amana microwave EXCEPT for the cooking function. Inspected the control board and found the upper switch on the door interlock was burnt. Installed new switch in minutes and everything now works fine. Unfortunately, had to purchase expensive two switch "kit" although only one switch was kaput. PartsSelect mailing was SUPER fast. OMG! I wish everything in life were so easy.....The cooking tray of our 15 year old microwave cracked and I swore it'd be impossible to find a replacement. I received my glass cooking tray so fast but when I try to put in the microwave did't fix was to big,I call you today to return and very nice lady help me and told me I need to call whirlpool and explain them and already order again thank so much for all your help you have very nice people in customer service. Just took the plate out the packaging & rinsed,dried and put in the oven. I was so happy I found it @partselect online& it came in the next day or two. Will definitely use them again. It was a fraction of the cost from local parts store.

Removed one screw lowered glass cover removed burned out bulb replaced with new one put glass back reinstalled screw. Dune 5 minutes back in business

remove 4 screws from top, front louvered panel snaps out. remove 1 screw from top of keypad, keypad pivot's forward and can be removed. There is a white mounting bracket inside left. Remove two screws, one top and one bottom, bracket lifts up and out. 3 sets wires are attached, mark them with masking tape, top, center, bottom and pull out plugs. They can only attach one way. Using a very small screw tip, lift plastic latch from switch, it rotates out and is removed from the pivot pin. reassemble in reverse order after switches are replaced

Open compartment, installed bulb, closed compartment

Ice covered the top back of the freezer compartment. This did not allow the cold air to move up to the fridge. Complete defrosting (36hrs) fixed the problem. There was a lot of water, from ice inside, that was not visible. We realized the freezer drawer must have been left cracked open. Thanks so much.

hardest part was taking the microwave down off of the wall to gain access to the diode. Thought if was the transformer but ended up being just a blown diode. remove and replace and bench test. that part took 15 minutes . moral of the story don't boil water under the side of the microwave that holds the electric components.

Removed the old seal tape, took the door apart and cleaned the glass. Put the door back together and replaced the seal tape with the new seal and it looks like new. Watched a video on line on how to take apart the microwave door and it was very easy.
