I'll tell you.......PartSelect said the items would take from 3-5 days.....I got them in 48 hrs. I turned the breaker to the oven off. I unscrewd two screws from the back of the oven and pulled the element out and took it off of two connectors. Repeated the same with the broiler element. Job done saved $200.00...Job was quoted at $259.00

Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new light bulb in was not the problem.

We have had our Whirlpool oven for 22 years and became very concerned that a part would not be available. We were thrilled to find the part as well as install the new part ourselves. With a screw driver, we disconnected the old baking element ( be sure to shut the power while doing this) and screwed in the new one. That simple!!!

I had no instructions, so I started by removing the two screws that seemed to hold the element together. I pulled the element forward and realized I had to seperate the element from the wires. It was an old unit so it took a strong tug but it did come apart. I was hoping at this point I was doing the right thing...I reconnected the new element , pushed it back in and replaced the screws. I was very impressed with myself! The new element heated up in no time. Yeah me!

Turned off electric to oven by shutting circuit breaker.Opened oven door, took out baking racks,loosened bolts from rear of oven holding element and plate . Disengaged element with plate from wires at rear of oven. Attached new element to clips on wires, rescrewed element plate back to rear wall. replaced racks and turned on circuit breaker. DONE!

1) Turn off the power at the circuit panel!
2) Remove 2 screws at the back of the bake element.
3) Gently pull the element out about 6 inches.
4) "Unplug" two wires from the back of the element.
5) Do the same in reverse to put the new element back in.
6) Turn the power back on.
7) Done!

I removed the two screws that hold the element in place and then I pulled the element out and slid off the contacs and it was disconnected in less than two minutes. When it arrived I installed the new one the same way in less than 2 or 3 minutes and while I waited for thepart to arrive I got a chance to clean my oven and so all is well, I am very pleased with my purchase. Grabbed my courage with both hands, then with my other hand I used a screwdriver. Delicately removed 2 screws holding the broken element. Once that delicate operation was done, I took out the old and place the new. Once again grabbed the screwdriver and with agility replaced 2 screws. Then, I turned on the oven and Voila, ready to bake some enchiladas.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

removed the screws that held the element in place. Pulled out the element out about three inches and disconnected the two wires, put the new one in, did the reverse and done. the best part was I orderd it on line after 3:oopm on a thursday and the part was delivered by saturday morning- wow!

My husband undid the screws of the element. I went to Home Depot and they said I had to order in online. I could not find the part of the Home Depot website, so I googled the part and your business was easy to locate and order the part. It arrived in two days and I, the wife, was able to rescrew the element into place and, voila, the oven was functional again.

Pulled the element out enough to disconnect the two wires . I then connected the new wires and pushed in the element . I finished off by screwing the bolts back in place.. Voila!!!!!!! I was in business once more!

Shut power off to stove, by turning off breaker. Using a screw driver, removed the 2 screws securing broken bake element to back of oven wall. Grasp the 2 wires holding the prones & gentley removed broken element. Attached new bake element to wires, put screws back in & secured to oven wall, turned breaker to stove back on. Oven works great, had pizza for dinner.
