KEMI300VBL2 KitchenAid Microwave Oven Combo - Instructions

This repair couldn't be easier. I turned off power to the range, removed the oven racks, unscrewed the two screws holding the element, carefully slid the connectors off of the terminals, reconnected them to the new baking element, put the screws back in. Entire repair took less than 10 min. Not much harder than changing a light bulb. Works like a brand new oven.

I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. It was that easy. I removed the two screws that hold the element in place and then I pulled the element out and slid off the contacs and it was disconnected in less than two minutes. When it arrived I installed the new one the same way in less than 2 or 3 minutes and while I waited for thepart to arrive I got a chance to clean my oven and so all is well, I am very pleased with my purchase. unplugged oven unscrewed old element replaced with new one plugged in oven it only took 2 days to get new element saved time and gas

Unscrewed two screws, pulled the element out of the socket, pushed in replacement element, screwed in the two screws--done!

turned power off Unscrewed 2 screws pulled old element out slightly . disconected wires . connected wires to new element tightened 2 screws turned power back on baked a pie. took longer to type this

i received the part via fed-x i opened the box uninstalled the old part installed the new part turned it on the element got red hot and it works just fine.

Turned off electric to oven by shutting circuit breaker.Opened oven door, took out baking racks,loosened bolts from rear of oven holding element and plate . Disengaged element with plate from wires at rear of oven. Attached new element to clips on wires, rescrewed element plate back to rear wall. replaced racks and turned on circuit breaker. DONE!

1) Turn off the power at the circuit panel!
2) Remove 2 screws at the back of the bake element.
3) Gently pull the element out about 6 inches.
4) "Unplug" two wires from the back of the element.
5) Do the same in reverse to put the new element back in.
6) Turn the power back on.
7) Done!

Removed the retaining plate screws (Phillips), pulled out the element enough to disconnect the wires, disconnected the wires. Installation was the reverse.

btw, PartSelect shipping was phenomenally fast. I ordered this part on Saturday and it was at my door at noon on Tuesday!! Holy Moly...

The repair was easy. I turned off the power to the oven at he curcuit breaker. Using a phillips screwdriver, I removed the 2 screws that held on the old heating element. One screw came off easily. The other screw required a little WD-40 and alot of force, but I was able to get it off. I then removed the 2 wires from the terminals on the old element. Again, it required a little force and wiggling of the contact.

Reversing the process, I slid the contacts onto the terminals of the new heating element. Then, I screwed the backplate of the new heating element in place at the back of the oven with the 2 screws I had previously removed. I then restored power at the circuit breaker. The whole job took less then 10 minutes.

I order the part on 7/29 and much to my surprise, it arrived the very next day. It took less than 15 minutes to remove the old element and installed the new one. It was a little difficult to unplug the old one and took quite a bit of pulling but it came out okay. Plugging in the new one and screwing on the cover plate was easy.
