i received the part via fed-x i opened the box uninstalled the old part installed the new part turned it on the element got red hot and it works just fine.

Turned off electric to oven by shutting circuit breaker.Opened oven door, took out baking racks,loosened bolts from rear of oven holding element and plate . Disengaged element with plate from wires at rear of oven. Attached new element to clips on wires, rescrewed element plate back to rear wall. replaced racks and turned on circuit breaker. DONE!

1) Turn off the power at the circuit panel!
2) Remove 2 screws at the back of the bake element.
3) Gently pull the element out about 6 inches.
4) "Unplug" two wires from the back of the element.
5) Do the same in reverse to put the new element back in.
6) Turn the power back on.
7) Done!

Unscrewed two screws, pulled the element out of the socket, pushed in replacement element, screwed in the two screws--done!

I order the part on 7/29 and much to my surprise, it arrived the very next day. It took less than 15 minutes to remove the old element and installed the new one. It was a little difficult to unplug the old one and took quite a bit of pulling but it came out okay. Plugging in the new one and screwing on the cover plate was easy.

Pulled old one out, installed new one with a twist of the screw driver. Easy!!!

I removed the two screws for the bake element, diconnected the two wires attached to the bake element. I then reattached the wires to the new bake element, secured it with the two screws and I was done. It took five minutes and the oven works like new.

Made sure that "Breaker" for oven is in the off positon.

Opened oven door to the first "stay open" position...lifted door straight up...and off of the hinges....which removes the door....and allows easier access to oven.

Removed oven racks

Removed two philips head

Pulled burned out element toward the front of the oven.....exposing the two connector wires.

Used pliers to pull wire connectors from burner element connectors.

Reversed the order of this process....to install new element.

Turned off the breaker to the stove. Removed the two screws holding the element in place. Pulled off the wire terminals, removed old element. Reconnected the two wires, slid new element into place, reinserted the two holding screws, turned back on breaker. 5 minutes.

My husband undid the screws of the element. I went to Home Depot and they said I had to order in online. I could not find the part of the Home Depot website, so I googled the part and your business was easy to locate and order the part. It arrived in two days and I, the wife, was able to rescrew the element into place and, voila, the oven was functional again.

I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. It was that easy. I removed the two screws that hold the element in place and then I pulled the element out and slid off the contacs and it was disconnected in less than two minutes. When it arrived I installed the new one the same way in less than 2 or 3 minutes and while I waited for thepart to arrive I got a chance to clean my oven and so all is well, I am very pleased with my purchase. On Saturday night before Thanksgiving my Wife indicated the oven was not heating up. A quick continuity check of the element indicated the unit was burnt out. I got on line and found PartSelect, found the proper element and ordered it. On Wednesday the element arrived and I removed the oven racks, removed two screws and pulled out the element to access the terminals. disconnected the wires, reconnected the wires to the new element and reinstalled the screws. Entire time was less than 5 minutes.

Thanksgiving dinner was saved at a reasonable price.

Unscrewed the two screws that held the old element to the back wall of the overn. Pulled out to reveal the two wires and connectors. Disconnected the two wires and removed old element being careful not to let the two wires recede back into the wall of the overn. Took the new element and connected the two wires. Then screwed the two screws through the holes in the element into the back wall. Easier than I thought it would be.
