Stove element not working
The only hard part of the job is removing the old, corroded terminal block. Be careful not to break the electrical wire. Other than that, just sand the contacts and reassemble. This is the second one I have replace on my 4 burner stove. 2 more to go.

My baking element had broken
My sons helped with that. They had to use a pliers to remove the old screws (did not have to notches). After that they they removed the element. Then the wires had to be disconnected (after we unplug the oven from the main power source. Then the wires were connected to the new heating unit. We only got one screw in so far will work on getting the second one in when they return tomorrow. I did turn on the oven and it works!!!

Thank you to the nice young man that helped me on the phone.

Old element burned into. A piece approx. 2in long burned into.
Removed the two screws which held the element in place. Then I pulled the element out about 2-3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Of course I turned off the breaker which fed the range. This had been done earlier so that wife could throughly clean the oven while the element was out of the way, When the new element arrived, we put it into the oven, reconnected the wires to the lugs on the element, pushed it back into the hole, pushed the insulation which protruded back into the hole, and replaced the two screws which held the back plate in place. Turned the breaker back on and turned oven on to test the repair job. Everything worked AOK.

Heating element would not heat
This job was easy. I removed two screws to release the element from the back of the oven, two more screws to release the electrical connection, connected the new element with the new screws provided and reattaced the heating element to the back of the over. It took two tries to get the element so that is sat level at the bottom of the oven. Ten minutes later, I was making dinner!

Bake element failed
I made sure the power was off. I removed two screws from the mounting plate, then I pulled the heating element forward two inches. Where the wires were attached by two screws, I removed those screws also; the heating element was freed up. I then removed it and replaced the 28 year old heating element with a brand new one.

Heating element had gone out in oven.
I removed the old element after turning off the breaker to the oven. Remove the two screws that hold it to the back wall of the oven, slid it towards me exposing the wire connection. Removed the screws from the wires and removed the old element. Cleaned the oven and installed the new element by reversing the steps I just talked about. Quick and easy, oven has never worked better.
