EV209NBTQ00 Whirlpool Freezer - Instructions

Had to remove 3 trays of food to get to the panel where the fan was, remove 4 phil screws found the fan had a broken blade. Went on line found the part at partselect order it recived it in 3 day. Removed the fan had 2 screws use nutdriver, removed old fan blade install new put everything back freezer is working fine.

I had the best luck using pliers to remove the hex top screws. Once the screws were removed I unplugged the old defrost timer and plugged in the new one. Replaced the screws and the freezer worked when plugged in.

Removed/replaced ice maker and valve per enclosed instructions. If you can service your own lawn mower this R&R should be easy for you.

The fridge was prepped for an ice maker but was never installed. After much aggravation of people not filling the ice trays I gave up and installed the ice maker. This is probably the hottest summer on record, and we were going thru a lot of ice. Lost a little real estate in the freezer by the ice maker but it was well worth it. Now I know I have fresh ice for cocktails in the evening!Install was fast and easy. A little longer than usual because I had to run the water line as well.

took old one out with a screw driver,replaced it with the new one. works great!. din't have to put part on at back bottom.I will say this.you guys sure got the part here fast! thanks..

googled the model of ice maker and refrigerator, ordered replacement ice maker from Part Select. Received next day, installed it in 10 minutes and it worked like a charm.

I removed a few items from the freezer to make room. Husband took out the old ice maker. (We were sure it would require moving the refrigerator out which would have been a huge undertaking given the tight fit) To start he simply replaced the ice maker with the new one. I started watching...and even though it says that it will take up to 24 hours to make ice, it began making ice probably within an hour! After about 6 batches, I threw those out. (just in case there was anything in the line that would contaminate the cubes)It is obvious that the old one had not worked properly for a long time! The ice container is full to almost over-flowing! It has not been this full in a very long time, as I use ice every day! Simple fix! And might I add...LIGHTNING FAST DELIVERY!! It was here in two days! We are thrilled!!!!!

I watched your repair video, read the instruction enclosed with the icemaker and made the repair in about 15-20 minutes. There is an issue that others need to be aware of once the water pump is repaced and the tubing is connected and the icemaker is installed and turned back on; it take 20-30 minutes to pump the air out of the line and the for the water to actually fill the the fill tray (you made the install correctly, the delay in filling is not covered by either the video or the book just be patience don't disconnect and reconnect anything it will eventually fill and make ice and less than 48 hours). This vendor offers 4 star customer service at a fair and resonable price (I priced the parts separately prior to purchase and the kit is the way to go). I received the product within 3 days, shipped groung delivery. I would use your products and online service advice for installation on other appliances in the future if needed. Simply removed the old icemaker and replaced it with the new one. Reqires removing 3 hex head screws and wiring harness, then reconnecting the new unit.

Unplugged refrigerator. Unplugged ice maker and took out three screws holding ice maker. Put new ice maker and attached three screws. Plugged ice maker in. Plugged refrigerator in and ice maker began working. Threw out first ice cubes made. Unit now working fine.

Removed panel and replaced the fan and clip when it arrived from PartSelect. The job was not big but having a part outlet with the item in stock was a real joy. In a few days we were back with a silent running freezer. So quiet now that I have to open the door to confirm that it is still running. Thanks Part Select. Bryan L. Huth

This freezer model uses no gasket screws but the door molding has a track indented which the gasket snugs into and held by friction. When the gasket came out of the shipping box, it had twist kinks on the long sides. Soaking in hot tub water put water into the gasket - not desirable so dried it out with hair drier but kinks stayed. Clothes drier at medium temp with a beach towel to act as both agitator and buffer inside the drum, prepared the gasket to be pliable for the track as well as be pulled flush to seat against the metal door opening.

Open the door put shelf in it fit perfectly. Thanks
