I watched the video and thought "I can do this". Made some notes and then proceeded to remove the old switch and replace with the new one. Thank you.

Simply stick a putty knife between the switch and refrig wall. Pop out old swith, remove both wires by pulling off switch by terminals. Throw switch out. Put wires on new switch and push into slot and all done. Nothing to it! Took me 5 minutes if th

I have never before seen a bulb with the filament intact not light. If the bulb's filament seems intact, screw the bulb into a known working lamp and see if it lights. When screwing it back into the socket in the fridge, it takes a bit of extra effort to fully seat (until it does, it won't light!). For replacing the switch, I unplugged the unit, used a paint scraper and worked it under the switch bezel from the right side. A bit of moxie, and the switch came out. The replacement switch had a different spade contact spacing than the original. I used a pair of scissors to cut the rubber bridge between the two switch wire connectors so I could connect to the new switch. In the end, it turned out to be the bulb. NOTE: The Model TC18KL is _not_ listed! What I finally found that the number "P7803211WL" on the sticker is actually a manufacturing code. Found this out by searching, and Sears' part search came up with matches.

I had ordered some other parts for something entirely different off your website and service was great. So after almost ten years of a dark refrigerator, because of a defective switch, I decided to see if you had the part to fix it... You did and the part got here in 3 days. I had a working light switch and all the light in the world where my husband needed it most (in the fridge). It took me at the most ten minutes to replace the part. I watched your repair video, read the instruction enclosed with the icemaker and made the repair in about 15-20 minutes. There is an issue that others need to be aware of once the water pump is repaced and the tubing is connected and the icemaker is installed and turned back on; it take 20-30 minutes to pump the air out of the line and the for the water to actually fill the the fill tray (you made the install correctly, the delay in filling is not covered by either the video or the book just be patience don't disconnect and reconnect anything it will eventually fill and make ice and less than 48 hours). This vendor offers 4 star customer service at a fair and resonable price (I priced the parts separately prior to purchase and the kit is the way to go). I received the product within 3 days, shipped groung delivery. I would use your products and online service advice for installation on other appliances in the future if needed. You have earned my trust, and repeat business in the future; and I will gladly recommend you to others. Your customer focus and service is second to none. Removed panel and replaced the fan and clip when it arrived from PartSelect. The job was not big but having a part outlet with the item in stock was a real joy. In a few days we were back with a silent running freezer. So quiet now that I have to open the door to confirm that it is still running. Thanks Part Select. Bryan L. Huth

googled the model of ice maker and refrigerator, ordered replacement ice maker from Part Select. Received next day, installed it in 10 minutes and it worked like a charm.

Had to remove 3 trays of food to get to the panel where the fan was, remove 4 phil screws found the fan had a broken blade. Went on line found the part at partselect order it recived it in 3 day. Removed the fan had 2 screws use nutdriver, removed old fan blade install new put everything back freezer is working fine.

Removed/replaced ice maker and valve per enclosed instructions. If you can service your own lawn mower this R&R should be easy for you.

I had the best luck using pliers to remove the hex top screws. Once the screws were removed I unplugged the old defrost timer and plugged in the new one. Replaced the screws and the freezer worked when plugged in.

I cut the plugs off and bought male and female wire conectors and crimped them on the wires and pluged them together.

I tried to remove the old light switch using a putty knife and a hammer. It was hard to compress the plastic tabs to pull it back through the hole, but all of a sudden, the lights came on. I guess banging on the switch freed-up the contacts. The new switch is now a spare part in case I need it.

I completed the ice maker installation but the bracket the automatic water valve was attached to in no way would fit my Whirlpool fridge. The one showed in instructions sent with the ice maker was different than the one Partselect sent me. I had to grind both sides of the bracket off and just hot glued it to the spot where it was supposed to go. I can see how this could be a real issue for some.

Whirlpool refridgerator, parts were not exactly the same,but did fit. The electrical hook plug was perfect. Old ice maker had wear marks in channels. Installed new ice maker. Pump still didn't operate after letting ice box get down to normal temp. Replaced pump. Had to use hose permanentely attached to new pump. Removed old hose and clamped new hose at top and outside refrigerator with existing clamp. Let the freezer get back down to normal temp. Ice maker operated perfectly.
