My freezer would not freeze.
Since everything about the freezer was working, I decided it had to be the temperature control. I ordered the part from Parts Select on a Monday and it arrived on Tuesday. I removed the two screws that hold the panel that covers the parts. The control was right there. Two more screws and it was out. Reverse the operation to install the new part and just like that in less than 5 minutes my freezer was running like new.

won't start repaced the run capacitor didn't solve the problem so I ordered a defrost timer
I watched the videos (they really help) and followed the steps. Everything went smooth with no surprises

compressor not running
thanks to all of the people who had the same problems I was able to make a quick fix on my fridge. I pulled the back cover off and found the compressor not kicking on so I replaced the start cap. and im back in bussiness.

freezer would not freeze longer than one day. after ten years without problem
pulled out freezer, went to floor,reached in next to compressor pulled off clip just like on the video.Pulled off old capacitator took off wire leads.Installed new one. Freezer runs great.Loaded it up with beef pork and venison. No problems.

the compressor capacitor overheated
it was great. I ordered the capacitor for my frigidaire frig and it arrived
in 3 days. plugged in the part to the compressor and my frig has been
working ever since. I spent 3 minutes ordering the part and 30 seconds
attaching it to the frig. Easy, very easy. saved myself a 75 dollar repair
visit. thanks
