Freezer ran constantly
removed 2 phillips screws for side panel and one for cold control faceplate. Pulled control away from chassis, disconnected wires with pliers, pulled out long sensor wire going into freezer. Installed new part in reverse order. Works like a charm, should save energy and money.

A power surge made my side by side refrigerator stop working
I started at the compressor and replaced the overload and the Ptcr first and that did not make the compressor start running again, so I replaced the capasitor and it still did not start, so I bit the bulett and replaced the Main Control Board and that is what I should have checked first, when I removed the old one I found a little burnt spot on the back that I could not see from the front. The new one did not look exactly like the old one, it had two more wire terminals than the old one, but just leave them blank and everything will work just fine!

Needed to create a 10" Keezer collar for chest freezer.
Cut 1'x10'x10" select pine board into 4 pieces. Attached the four pieces using the Kreg Jig Jr to each other. Stained and polyurethane for appearance. Added EDM weather strip to bottom edge of collar. Disconnected hinges and removed lid from freezer chest. Placed collar on top of chest freezer then placed lid on top of collar. Carefully aligned collar to freezer and lid to collar. Attached existing hinge of lid to collar, then mounted new hinges to existing freezer mount location then attached new hinges to collar. Double hinged collar. Nice!!!! Not a repair but an improvement.
