There was no light on in refrig area
Just replaced the switch, but unfortunately that was not the problem; nor was it the bulb....so I am back to square one.
But Parts Select is a great place to order from. Thank you.

Ice was building up in freezer
My seal around the freezer door was in need of changing. Placed the new seal in the dryer for about 10min while I removed all the screws from around the door. When I got to the bottom of the door the screws were rusty. Removed the old seal. Have back up screws on hand incase this happens. I cleaned the area at the bottom of the door that had become rusty. Then draped the new seal over the top of the door and started screwing the new one to the door. It was done! Pretty quick and easy.

Door gasket leak
Followed other instructions posted. Put gasket in dryer for a few minutes. My son held gasket back while I removed/reinstalled screws. It would have been much more difficult if I had attempted to do it by my self

light not working in fridge
It was so easy!
Thanks for the rush to my home on the part.
I just unscrewed the plate that locks in the light switch (screwdriver) and unplugged the old faulty part and plugged in the new switch, screwed the cover back on and I was done!
Easy!
And I am not Mr. Fix-it!

The Switch Broke...Absolutely Fell Apart.
I simply removed the old switch using 2 small screwdrivers and the old switch case popped out. I then upluged the wires from the old switch and reversed the process. Didn't take longer than 5 minutes begining to end! Thank you for the great service! Duncan quaid

Due to the age of the washer, everything on the bottom end was rusted or corroded together tightly.
To remove the drive bell, I drilled numerous holes through the top and split it apart with a screwdriver. The hub was really stuck and due to the unavailability of a 6" puller, I was forced to drill holes in the center section, tap the holes and use a harmonic balancer puller, PB Blaster, and propane torch to remove the hub. After removing the hub, I found small holes rusted through the outer tub. These I repaired with JB WaterWeld quite successfully. The new parts were well made and went on easily in about 45 minutes.

lights wouldn't come on/work in refrigerator
Referencing the info/schematics you have on your website, I unscrewed/unattached top-front panel (carefully), from behind the panel you have to detach the wires (2) from the switch, pushed "in" the switch to remove, put in new switch and attach wires to test BEFORE remounting panel. Tada!! Thank you PartSelect! You saved me at least $80...would have been at least $100 to have a repair person come to the house!

Had to replace the upright freezer gasket
I followed the instructions They worked well, but there are two things I should mention. Once I removed the inside panel of the door (with shelving for jars, etc.) to get to the gasket I found the insulation behind it to be encased in ice. I had to replace the insulation. Then, when I had it back together and closed the door there were large gaps between the new gasket and the body of the freezer. I tried various things to fix it and finally found that by pushing hard of the door with the freezer running it pretty well sealed. After running for a while it sealed completely and has been working perfectly since.
