The front part of the handle of the work bowl came off my old processor and you could not lock bowl in place. Thus, it required a new bowl or buy a new processor, which I did not want to do.
All I had to do was wash the bowl and lid and put in on the food processor.

Easy enough to order and quick delivery, even with holiday shipping. Possible design flaw?

Food processor didn't operate when food processor plugged in and on button pressed.
No repair needed, a part on original work bowl must have broken, so bowl wouldn't lock properly to base and processor wouldn't operate. Replacement bowl fixed the problem right away. Thank you!

This required a several unsuccessful phonecalls to small parts repair companies who didn't know how to remove the old plastic casing required to fix the electronics. An electronics friend assisted me and took all morning to help take it apart and repair it. Now, there is another problem: the safety switch spring is not engaging with the food container. Very frustrating that these devices cannot be repaired simply. It should not be necessary to purchase an entire new unit, but it appears they are so designed to do just that.
