Could not set timer because selector stem on timer had broken.
Called parts select and explained my problem with representive and was able to order a new timer which included the selector stem. Received the correct part in a couple of days. Very quick! Removed back plate of the top part of dryer. Removed 2 screws holding timer and removed old timer. Installed new timer and reterminated wiring to back of new timer. Replaced back plate on dryer. Dryer was ready to go. Minimal down time!

I had only seen a one piece rack .The 2 piece threw me for a loop.
I thought I had checked the arm piece of the rack real good for a product number on my original part but I missed the number till the 2nd box came in, and a looked real careful and realized it was the same as the order I thought was bad.
Put the spring arm in first and the rack will fit in the front groove.
It would have been good if there had been a picture of the dryer arm attached to the dryer.
So I have 2 good racks and will return one if you tell me where to send it.

Took the 4 small screws holding the back plate in place off. Then removed all the wiring clips from the old timer. Removed the 2 screws holding the timer in place, then removed the timer and the last wiring clips. Put the new timer in place and then put all the wiring clips back on. Closed up the panel and moved the dryer back into place. Total time was about 20 min.

Maintenance - cleaning out the lint chute (most makes)
Lint can build up inside the dryer, and can cause a fire in EXTREME cases. If your model has a back panel that exposes the entire chute, this job is much easier. Unscrew the chute from the machine to remove it. Inspect and clean all the lint out, especially the bottom, next to the fan blower. The other version machine has a panel at the top that is welded on. Remove the two screws at the top corner of the rear bulkhead, where the chute is. Gently pull this inner panel away to free the top of the chute from the rear top panel. Then pull the chute down and out. Follow the reverse to complete the job.

I just needed to replace the rack in my dryer
This did not require a "repair", just a replacement. I want to say that the response time and ease of ordering were very good. I would not hesitate to use PartSelect again when needed. Thank you!

the lint chute assembly had corroded & would not accept the lint screen.
I pulled thee dryer out from the wall, shut off the gas & disconnected the gas line & the air vent, I then removed the fasteners from the upper end of the lint chute assembly (accessible from the top of the machine). I then tipped the machine over on to its front side making the back fully accessible. After removing the back cover, I removed the remaining fasteners holding the lint chute assembly in place & removed the part. I then removed the assembly only to find that the seals were not included in the package even though I had specifically asked about the seal when I called in & place my order. The response to my question was " seals are included that is why it is called an assembly." The end result was that I had to use alternate material & fabricate my own seals in order to complete the installation. As a result a repair which should have taken no more that 30 minutes, took over two hours.
