Dryer door wouldn't shut
The door catch kit is soo easy. They give you instructions on which one to use depending on your dryer and it fit perfectly into the door. This was great especially since it was so inexpensive! My husband thought we would have to replace the door.

washer continued to spin when you raised the lid not shutting off
Your web site is amazing Ive enjoyed watching your videos, this is a really great way to see what it takes to repair your washer very informative. Steve was a good teacher for me I just followed along as he explained each step and my washer came apart just like he said. I removed the two front console screws and pulled slightly forward and lifted console up and tilted it back where it was out of the way. next I was able to lift cabinet up from the back and remove it from the frame and lay cabinet on the floor on top of a rug I had to protect the finish on cabinet . Now I had access to the lid switch and simply removed the two screws in the cabinet and the old switch. I connected the two wire connections to the new switch (no)normally open connection, used same actuator the instructions say to do this because the one that comes with the new switch won't fit so use the old one. on my washer there's a cover that fits under this switch and It took me a little longer to get the screws to line up so they fit through the switch and into the cover but It worked fine. Now all I had to do was reinstall the cabinet just like Steve did on the video my only problem with this was seeing where the tabs in the frame were located so that the slots in the cabinet would fit over top of frame tabs I used a flash light in one hand and lowered the cabinet down I held the light on the frame tabs and the slots in cabinet fit right in then lowered cabinet to the rear frame tabs where i just had to push slightly on the sides of cabinet and it fit right in.Next i pushed the back panel in place and on the top of washer just like in video reinstalled both spring clip clamps and the console and reinstalled the two screws. I plugged in the washer put drain hose back in drain pushed washer back in place turned it on working great now ! Thank You so much for your help Dan.

Dryer would not start, only making a humming noise
I checked the motor to make sure it turned freely but it didn't so I knew it was bad, your online instructions made it so easy for me to make the motor replacement, if I ever need any appliance parts ever again .....you can bet I'm buying them from you. I purchased the motor for about 40% less then what it was retailed locally.

"banging" or "bumping" noise when using drier - caused by broken support roller.
Remove screws from dryer vent. lift top up: use screw driver to pry up and release top panel its uses a simple catch. Remove wires from door switch. Lift up and remove front panel from clips on side of drier body. IMPORTANT: two people required - Drum will fall if not supported when front panel is removed. Get down in front of machine: one peron holds drum in place an you push up on belt tensioner. Release belt from drive wheel. Remove drum and set aside. Pry off support clip from front of broken support roller. Clean roller shaft (replace if broken). Place new roller on shaft. Replace support clip. Have second person hold drum in place while you re install drive belt (see above). Replace front panel. Re attach wires to door switch. push top panel down (firmly to lock). replace drier screws.

Dryer was squealing like a stuck hog!
The instructional videos were very helpful in diagnosing and correcting the problem. I order the idler pulley and decided to replace the drum support rollers since I had to open it up. It was very simple to do and did not take long. The old pulley was completely shot. It sounded like a baby rattle when rolled by hand. Now the old dryer runs like new. Parts were delivered quickly and I am very happy with the service!

Loud squeaking noise
The first and best thing I did was watch the instructional video. This was very helpful. I removed the lint trap and two screws, then pried the top off using a putty knife as described in the video. I I disconnected the wiring harness and the two screws holding the front panel, then removed the panel. Next, I removed the belt from the drum and removed the drum. I had a little difficulty removing the clips holding the rollers, but was able to pry them off after a few minutes. I installed the new rollers and reassembled everything. Note: I used the nut driver to push the new clips onto the roller pins. The problem was resolved and the dryer is working fine!

Loud noises when dryer was spinning.
I started trying to locate the noise. I started to remove screws in the rear plate. Removed the rear plate. Couldn't find the noise. Had to remove the top cover and operational controls. Couldn't locate the noise. I figured it was a bearing that went bad somewhere, but I coulnt find it. During the search for these drum rollers I was able to thouroughly clean out old debris and lint caught in the machine for years. Finally I located the bottom front cover, took it off, and located the problem.
At this point I went online, located the part with these guys, ordered it and got it delivered in like 2 days. Pretty quick.
I then went back and replaced the both drum rollers in like 1 hour.
Dryer works and sounds great now.

Drum Not Rotating
Replaced drum support rollers but did not fix problem. Motor was fried! Replaced with used motor. NOTE. Make certain you install motor in the right position or you will find the drum sitting on motor. The guide must be in the 4 o.clock position and then placed in bottom groove for proper alignment of motor to drum. Job was amazingly easy and online instructions were super helpful.

Loud squeaky noise
Raised the top of the dryer and removed the front panel. Then removed the drum to gain access to the drum support rollers. Used the the flat screwdriver to remove the retaining clips holding the wheel in place. Slid the new wheels in place and popped the clip back on. Slid the drum in and put the front back on. The installation video online was extremely helpful.

There was a loud banging rattling noise when we operated the dryer.
Removed (2) Philips screws from the lint filter at the top of the dryer. Used a standard screwdriver to pry open the top of the dryer (it hinges back toward the wall). On the inside of the front panel removed a bolt with a socket on the right and left side. Disconnected two wires from the door safety switch (Make sure to unplug the unit first). Lift up on front panel and remove it from the slide connectors at the bottom on right and left sides. Under the drum on the right side pull drive belt slack towards motor and slip off of the pulley. The drum should come out freely. Both rollers are visible remove the triangle clips and the rollers will come off. On lower roller support use needle nose pliers to remove the washer clip that holds the vertical support arm. Reverse this procedure to assemble the dryer again. There is an excellent video that is supplied online. Watch it first , it was very helpful to me.
