Dryer would run with no heat
I actually went to mr fix it on u tube. Great instruction on how to take dryer apart. First I unplugged the dryer. I found I could reach the heating system by removing the lint tube in the back of the dryer. I put my I phone with the light on inside the back of the dryer and tested the connections to see if all were working. The thermal fuse was not working. I removed the two wires , red on top and white on the bottom. Then used a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the two mounting screws and removed the fuse. I then used a vacuum to clear any lint from the back of the dryer and inside the dryer. This took me about an hour and a half. I did it this way because I did not want to disassemble the entire dryer to get to the components. I received the fuse in 3 days and tested it. It was fine. I then put it in the dryer screwed it in place, connected the wires. Replaced the lint tube. This took about 10 minutes. Dryer is running great.

Filter parts chipped - replaced
Removed existing parts using screwdriver, positioned new parts in dryer and re-inserted screws, tightened - done. Piece of cake, even for someone who cannot saw a straight line with a chop saw.

The lint dryer filter was not fitting in correctly so it sticks out a bit and while clothes are drying it was catching it and ripping/twisting and damaging all my clothes
I bought the whole dryer filter kit, but turns out I only needed the dryer filter and am very happy about that. No tools necessary I just slid it right in. It fit perfectly and I no longer have anxiety about my clothes coming out ripped.

The dryer worked fine except the dryer did not heat up
I unplugged the dryer and disconnected the vent.
I pulled the dryer away from the wall so I had room to work on it.
Pulled the top cover off (slides back).
Took the door off
Took the front adjustable feet on the bottom off
Unscrewed all of the face screws on the front of the dryer
Took the two screws off of the back of the control panel holding the control panel to the metal frame.
Gently pulled on the control panel to reveal 4 screws under the control panel to be able to take the front cover off.
Pulled the front cover off (the dryer door front cover).
Pulled the dryer vent cover off (two screws).
I could now see the heating element with sensor/fuse (right side).
Did a continuity test (beep) on all visable sensors/fuses on the heating element. No beep on the thermal fuse (used website diagram to locate parts to test and replacement part numbers).
Got the part after about a week, tested the parted (it beeped), replaced with new part and put dryer back together, plugged in and the dryer heated. Problem solved.

We have ruined hundreds and thousands of dollars the past decade on our LG typical detective lint filter!
I watched a You Tube Video. It instructed me to take the top, front, and door off. Not necessary!!! But definitely unplug it as there is a moisture sensor attached inside this housing. Remove current Filter. Remove all screws holding the two key pieces in (Filter Cover and Guide). Disconnect the moisture sensor (mine is white wires connected to two metal prongs). Remove the Filter Cover and Filter Guide and discard. Get a long vaccum hose and remove all visible lint in the area below where the Filter Guide resides. Replace the Filter Guide and reconnect the moisture sensor, replace the Filter Cover. You may find it easier to snap these two pieces together before installing. Make sure the small plastic guides on the inside of the drum snap in tightly to the tei guide holes, then replace all screws. Note- Part Select does not send screws, so save your screws from the old parts and take note which are longer and go where. Tighten, but do not over tighten. If you were successful, the Filter Cover and Guide should be smooth with the edge of the drum and door. Install your new Filter, plug back in, and enjoy! I can FINALLY dry tank tops, open shoulder, and key hole tops, as well as sheets without my dryer eating them. Only problem is that I wish I had done it sooner. Note, I'm a female with no electrical or appliance repair experience. I did this on my lunch break and surprised my husband when he got home! Easy peasy!

Lint screen and frame was torn up
Was initially going to order just the lint screen. Manufacturer notes said that there had been a redesign on that part so ordered all three pieces to ensure matching parts. On arrival it was just a matter of removing a few screws. Direct fit replacement!

Lint filter and cover guide melted which was ripping up some clothes
Just unscrewed four screws. One piece stays behind which is a sensor then pull up on it, put it back in the same way, put the four screws back in and it was done.

We needed a new lint filter and housing guide
My only issue was that I paid almost $30 for overnight shipping , and Part Select only sent two of the three pieces overnight. I had to wait several more days for the final piece. When I asked that they refund the expedited shipping charge, I never got a response. Would probably go with another company next time.

Lint filter and housing needed replacement
Parts did NOT fit together well. Because plastic, didn't want to force the pieces together and break them. Ended up calling appliance repair and even he had some difficulty getting it all together and back into the dryer.

Broken filter and holder
I didn't get to do the repair because despite the model number and the picture being exactly what I needed I was shipped the wrong part and basically told by pets select to shake it off that's your problem not ours.

No Heat to my Dryer
1. Had to find out what was causing the problem by eliminating each part one by one using a multimeter. I got a video link from parts select on how to do this.
2. Then got another video link sent to me by parts select on how to take my dryer a part and replace the part.
3. Followed it step by step and it worked really well.
4. The process was great except shipping was excessively high for such a small part.

Lint Screen Housing broke causing damage to clothing
Could not do repair since the parts that I ordered were different from the picture on this site. I have emailed them to which they replied with one email asking for some info. I sent that to them and have not heard anything back in the last 3 weeks. I have even sent reminder emails and still nothing. I can't use my dryer due to damaging clothing and can't replace parts due to being the wrong part. Partselect is not very good at getting answers for their customers. Expert repair help is something i don't think they have. Getting some answers would go a long way but i feel like i have been left in the dark.

Original lint housing has damage that causes clothes to get caught and tear up
Able to complete install but the lint housing does not allow the lint screen to slide down completely due to the housing lacking the appropriate cut outs/notches. The slit becomes too narrow for the lint screen so it protrudes from the sides. The delivered product does not match the image on the item description, which shows the proper cut outs/notches that should fully accommodate the lint screen.
I'm having a similar experience with this reviewer:

Lint screen housing
The housing will not allow the lint screen to set completely down because the housing lacks the proper cut outs causing the lint screen to set 1-1.5 inches too high. I was able to cut out the required notches in the plastic so that the lint screen would fit. The picture shows the proper notches but the delivered product didn’t have the notches and does not match the picture.
Will return the item and keep searching for the correct lint housing.
