moisture sensor stopped working
Pretty easy to fix, hardest part was having to get the screws out of the inside of the dryer to replace the sensor itself. Once that was done it was pretty quick! PLUS super fast shipping on my part!! Was fixed before any repair places even called me back!!

Dryer element burned out. Dryer would not heat.
I was afraid I had to go in from the back panel, undo a million little bolts, after pulling the whole thing out far enough to get behind the dryer. Not so! I watched the installation video. I cannot get to the 220 plug easily so I turned of the switch at the breaker box. I opened the small panel on the front of the dryer under the dryer door. Loosened one bolt on a cover guard to expose the element. Unplugged the connection to the element and easily pulled out old part. Slipped in the new part, reconnected the little plug connections, closed cover panel.! Voila! Done! My Husband was amazed that I was done & we were ready to go again & my grand kids cheered for me!! 15 minutes or less instead of hours.

Dryer stopped heating
I needed a schematic to know exactly where the heating element was located and to be sure of what the part looked like. I found the part and after watching the video on removing and installing the heating element decided to replace the High Limit Thermostat and fuse as well. I also read some of the other reviews. The part arrived in 2 days and I did have a little help removing the old one before the parts arrived. Since the dryer was ready for the new parts when they arrived, the install was easier. I had a little trouble balancing the flashlight to see well enough and realized it was easier to put the element in then reinstall the unit, it was a little tricky getting the element sleeve back into the slot, THEN screw the thermostat and Thermal fuse onto the element housing. Since everything was open, I vacuumed all the lint out that I could, hooked up the vent hose, plugged the unit in and pressed the button. I then basked in the glow of a working heating element and I was back in business!. Thanks for the video and help. I LOVE PartSelect.

No heat, everything else worked
Pretty straight forward, only hard part was getting the housing for the heating element out. After that it was plug and play. Added benefit was cleaning out the inside and dryer vent while I was in there.

Dryer wouldn,t heat.
Removed the bottom front panel. The difficulty was in locating and testing the components because of access. Removing the heater required removing the heat shield and bracket and restraining screws, and then pulling out the heater with pliers which was stuck because of age. Dryer now works fine.

Dryer had no heat
Opened up unit and followed tech directions on inside pocket to isolate the problem to the heating element. Pulled it out and sure enough it was broken in one place. Found the part on PartSelect and ordered it on Saturday, received it on Wednesday. Replaced the new heating element into the assembly, reinstalled the assembly and connected the wires. Works like new now!

Dryer auto mostiure sensing did not work
Dryer is on a pedestal. Opened drawer and removed two 1/4 inch screws on bottom panel of dryer front. Panel drops down and exposes the dryer exhaust where thermistor is located. Removed two spade connector wires and removed two 1/4 inch screws. Installed new thermistor and reversed procedure. For the moisture sensors I used a phillps screwdriver and stuck my head in the dryer and removed the lint screen assembly (3 screws). Removed the spade wire connectors and used a straight blade screw driver to remove the moisture sensor. Installed the new sensor and re-installed the lint screen assembly in the reverse of removal. All very easy - just took 30-45 minutes total.

Taking Longer For Clothes To Dry
Watched steve on the video on changing the thermistor a couple times, it appeared to be straight forward replacement. Unplugged the dryer. . . Went through the front, my lent filter slides in and out from the lid so I had too remove two extra screws to detach it. After opening up the front it became very apparent my thermistor was not located in the same location as the one in the video. Dryer needed a cleaning (lint/dust) so I released the idler pully tension on the drum belt and went ahead and removed the drum/belt and shop vac/ blew with compressed air and shop vac once again. Gave my dryer a much needed cleaning since I had it apart. Put everything back together in about 20 mins. Pulled the dryer away from the wall and removed rear cover and presto there it was right next to the dryer air outlet. Replaced thermistor and replaced back cover, inspected out flex hose on dryer outlet, I clean it out (flex) yearly to prevent problems. Reattached flex on both ends, re-positioned dryer, plugged back in, and works great! Definitely fixed my problem. . . Replacing the drum by myself was a bit difficult. Still do able (there's a video on that also. . )

No Heat From Dryer
Searched Internet for Dryer Model and problem, purchased the three items listed used in the heater element - long as I was replacing parts I was going to do them all...Unplug Dryer, Removed Back and Front Access panels using power driver with nut socket adapter... Lots of Dust Build Up in lower section of dryer, cleaned by hand, then vacuumed and the blew out with air from small compressor. Removed heater assembly and replaced All Three Electrical components, (Heater coil, High Limit, Thermal Fuse) Reinstalled heater unit and then closed up unit back panel and front panel. Plugged in, ran dryer front panel diagnostics - no errors reported, test dryer - dryer vent tube is now warm to the touch - the dryer working again.... (Suspected Bad Item: Thermal Fuse) Total repair time once parts in hand was about two hours, most time was spent cleaning out lint and dust to insure no fire hazard present
