I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

Fantastic site and service !!! Using your site, I i'd my needed part in about 10 minutes. I received my Whirlpool dryer door latch part from you in less than 12 hours. Per your internet site instructions, I replaced the part in a few seconds (just popped it into the slot) and my wife had a working dryer for her Sunday wash. I would have been out $55 and 4 to 7 days waiting for a service call if I had used my home warranty service contractor. Using your service, the part(s) and shipping were just over $12.

Took 5 seconds, just snapped in the slot, didn't need any tools.

Took top of d then dryer loose then replaced switch actuator put dryer top back in place. Not that hard.

Snapped latch into existing hole in 2 seconds. The pin that goes into latch was still intact. That's it ,real simple. The only problem I will hopefully not have in the future is the the mico-switch which is just hanging in there, the switch works but the lever that extends out from the face, that works with the door is partially broken off and the switch is no longer available on your parts list. The appliance is twenty-one years old. I am very happy with your service and I received the parts the next day, after I ordered them and I will be buying more parts in the months to come. This time it will be for my Kenmore gas stove and then a Kenmore refrigerator door hinge.

Open the top and replaced the switch bracket with the actuator lever then inserted new door catch.

I'm a 66 year old lady with no repair experience at all!! I found the part I needed on Parts Select, which I ordered and received in less than 4 days. I watched the video that you've posted on your website which shows in great detail how to do this repair. It looked like a simple fix and it was!! I highly reccomend Parts Select!! Took my granddaughter(held flashlight) and myself less than 30 minutes to do the repair!!!

After removing the front of the dryer it was evident that the blower boss had broken where the motor shaft comes through and is attached. I removed a few more parts to make the blower more accessible and removed it. I then machined a new boss and attached it to the blower and reinstalled it.I then did a quick continuity check on the three thermostats since the dryer was already apart.I discovered one was faulty and ordered a new one from you.That repair took all of five minutes.The irony of the whole thing is that while I was ordering the thermostat from you,I asked out of curiosity,if the blower was still available. As it turns out it still is but the new machined part worked out great and the dryer was back up and running in no time.

This dryer refuses to die and I am happy to keep it that way. Door latch was replaced in less than a minute using this kit. Easiest repair ever.

Removed two small screws on door edge, pop out broken part, insert new part, replace screws. Took 2 minutes 18 seconds. Nice to have various door catches in the Kit. This was a repair on a 1979 Whirlpool Dryer. Great price & service!!

I removed 2 screws to the lint trap, popped top of dryer with a flat screwdriver but did not remove it I just raised it and leaned it against the wall. I removed 2 screws from the top of the inside front panel,then I hooked the new cables to the springs that are on either side of the front panels at the top. I then pulled the panel forward just enough to fit my hand and thread the cables through the holes that are on the front panel that lead to the door, I had already popped out 2 plastic caps that go inside the door on both sides.I then treaded the cables inside each hole and snapped the caps back on. The Door Catch Kit had clear instructions for installation and included multiple replacement catches to fit several different sizes/varieties of dryers. I used a screwdriver to pry out the broken door catch, popped in the replacement, and was done!
