ordered new latch kit and repaired, very easy thank you

Took 5 seconds, just snapped in the slot, didn't need any tools.

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

I first noticed that the tab of the door switch snapped off so the safety on/off switch did not work when the door was closed. I temporarily taped the switch closed so I could use the dryer. I found the model number from the unit and easily found the schematic and part description from the website. I placed the order and had the part in a few days. Problem solved. Thank you

Took top of d then dryer loose then replaced switch actuator put dryer top back in place. Not that hard.

Snapped latch into existing hole in 2 seconds. The pin that goes into latch was still intact. That's it ,real simple. The only problem I will hopefully not have in the future is the the mico-switch which is just hanging in there, the switch works but the lever that extends out from the face, that works with the door is partially broken off and the switch is no longer available on your parts list. The appliance is twenty-one years old. I am very happy with your service and I received the parts the next day, after I ordered them and I will be buying more parts in the months to come. This time it will be for my Kenmore gas stove and then a Kenmore refrigerator door hinge.

I got my kit and when I opened it the exact parts were there!! I am a older woman and was a little worried that I could do it. I took the pliers and pulled the old latch catch out and 1-2-3 walah!! It was so unbelievably easy. If I can do it anyone can. Thank you for saving me hundreds of $s on a new dryer.

I just remove two screws slip the old off and slip the new one on replace the two screws back put top of dry back in place replace two screws from dry lint trap

The Door Catch Kit had clear instructions for installation and included multiple replacement catches to fit several different sizes/varieties of dryers. I used a screwdriver to pry out the broken door catch, popped in the replacement, and was done! this could not have been easier. after replacing the heating element, i discovered the dryer was not heating at all, so it made sense to replace the thermostat located in the same housing as the heating element. the new thermostat had an extra connection, i guess to accommodate newer models, but was not applicable to mine, so it said just to ignore it, strip and attach the new lead (supplied with the thermostat). these parts and instructions are very concise, and very complete. in short, my dryer works like brand new again! i would use these folks again in a minute!

Got the latch kit, found the correct one, popped it in...dryer works! Thanks....
