This thermistor is a replacement temperature-sensing component used to monitor and regulate heat levels. It is commonly replaced when temperature readings become inaccurate or heating behavior is inconsistent.

The blower wheel and housing assembly spins on the motor shaft to blow air through the dryer drum and out through the exhaust.
