GGR331CS0 Gibson Dryer - Instructions

Removed back panel. Popped off top of dryer, then removed front of dryer. Slid belt onto tumbler, put front cover back on, put top back on and adjusted belt frombottom panel cover.

I watched the video on the repair and followed it. Super easy. Repair only took 30 mins. Please note there are 2 glides. Make sure to order 2.

Took it apart and installed the parts. Then I threw the dryer in the trash and bought a new one.

Just opened package and popped the part right in!

I took the dryer apart to vacuum and check because of the screaching noise. Took drum out and found the bearing in pieces and shaft had rubbed against the brace. I thought as old as my dryer was I would never get a piece to fix it. I got online and found PartSelect.com. I found the part but could not tell if all was included. there was a Phone Number so I called it. I was helped instantly. They acted like it was no big deal to have a dryer that old. I got my part within a week and had my dryer back together. It works like new. Thank you

replaced rear drum bearing kit. Watched video made it real easy. The only problem was getting the belt back on the pulleys.

I looked up a YouTube video on my specific model. Found one that said “basic disassembly”. I watched that and had it apart and back together in no time. Very easy to take apart and put new parts back in it. Re-assembled and since the repair no squeaking.

Remove top cover and front and remove drum and install a new bearing kit and new belt.

Both my husband and I had watched the videos for the parts we ordered. While we had a small space to work in, the repair on our dryer went fine. We are very happy with the parts we ordered along with the short amount of time it took to arrive. Thank you very much for the videos. Purchasing these parts and having the videos really saved us money compared to having to purchase a new dryer.

First I took the drum out of the dryer. This was an easy tear down. I had to remember 2 wires, and a belt assembly ( 2 pullies ). I removed 3 screws inside the drum to release the bearing assembly from the back. Then I went to the dryer chasis and removed the mounting bracket by removing 2 screws. I simply replaced the mounting bracket with the new one. This required having to use a magnet to hold a small ball bearing in place while I worked the rest of the pieces in position.I greased it up and went back to the drum. I replaced the old bearing assembly with the new one. Easy. I took the time to shop-vac the inside of the dryer. There was a lot of loose lint, candy rappers, coins, etc. Finally, I put it back together. Unfortunately, this is the forth (4th) time I've had to do this. It's cheaper than buying a new dryer. Now, I've got to fix the washer.

i read reviews and finally found a person that replace the motor, rear bearing, front top glides, and tension arm/pulley.. i had cleaned the fan motor with a tooth brush best i could the 1 time i had it apart. after the 4th time apart and reading a different review that said replace the fan motor housing/fan. i did and noise gone.

Had to open back side vent & use needle nose to secure spring.

Followed the video as my unit was exact model( Front Loader) Thank You for your quick ship to me here in Iowa as my repair was made in St. Louis. Parts came with in 2 days then drove to St. Louis with confidence. We purchased this set in 2003 and it is first repair on dryer. This in my rental unit. Thx

Just like in the video, but with a stackable washer/dryer unit, works like new now....
