Dryer Timer Knob not advancing properly.
I thought the dryer timer had gone bad, but was probably just the knob. Exact parts on this site. Pulled dryer out at angle to access back. Removed the three top screws and the front panel easily pulled off. Removed knob to release the part and realized that the knob was probably the problem! Broken plastic.... I still replaced the dryer timer since the dryer is 2014. Took photo to ensure all wires replaced in same spots. Both parts had a letter with the wire color as well. I watched a youtube video and knew I had to rotate the timer counterclockwise to remove it from the panel - two slots hold it onto the panel. I pulled the wires one at a time, some needed pliers to remove. Installed wires on new part, installed timer on panel clockwise, re-attached front panel. When I re-installed the knob, it failed. I ordered the knob from here and used the signal knob temporarily until it arrived. Works great with new knob.

The dryer only provided heat on the timed settings - on other settings, the drum rotated but there was no heat
The repair is straightforward. Three phillips head screws along the top on the backside hold the control panel in place. Once the panel is loosened, the timer can be lifted from its mounting. Holding the new timer in one hand, carefully remove wires one at a time from the old timer and placing them on matching points on the new timer. Once all the wires have been moved from the old timer to the new timer, place the new timer in its mounting and reinstall the control knob. Finally reattach the panel with the three phillip head screws. Job complete.

The timer knob was cracked and the metal "D"-Ring was broken on my GE cloths dryer
This repair was a no brainer repair. The factory replacement knob that I bought from this site comes with a new "D"-Ring. Some other aftermarket parts houses sell the knob and the "D"-Ring as seperate parts. The knob from this site already has the "D"-Ring ring installed in the knob. My "D"-ring was broken and I simply removed it with my fingers. All I had to do was properly align the new know knob with the timer shaft and press it into place. If your "D"-ring is not broken and not still inside the old knob, you will need to pull it off the shaft with a pair of pliers before pressing the new knob onto the timer shaft. Plastic handle in dryer broke off.
All I neede to do was buy the new part and snap it into place on the door. The hardest part was making the door usable while waiting for a new handle. The solution was good old duct tape. I just taped the old broken handle in place until the new one showed up.

Purchased a used dryer & lint filter had holes due to rust
On my GE Dryer the lint filter is located inside the door at the bottom. The filter can just be pulled out by hand & a new one pushed into place

a lot
started with replacing the belt and tension pulley which I purchased from another source. I found your videos on line and they are great. easy to follow. Realized I needed the bottom vent assembly and your prices were better than my local supplier. It was easy to replace thanks to your video. It was nice that you included it in the final order status. The only problems. Did not know the duct felt seal was included with the new duct assembly. I ordered the wrong bearing slides, web site showed both green and white for my model. I now realize I should replace the upper bearing housing. Can I return the unused parts, unopened and have that put as a credit to my next order? Thanks

Dryer Not Starting
First I replaced the timer, but dryer still did not start. took apart dryer, jumper out door and componet near motor to see what problem was and to be able to run dryer while opened up. Actually motor had seized up just enough to not allow motor to start rotating. Lubricated motor shaft and rotated motor for oil to work its way in. Tried starting again and motor started. Buttoned dryer back up and reconnected wires to appropriate places and started dryer again and again.Worked for 4 loads of laundry and still working for 3 loads on Wednesday. Working fine
