Plastic handle in dryer broke off.
All I neede to do was buy the new part and snap it into place on the door. The hardest part was making the door usable while waiting for a new handle. The solution was good old duct tape. I just taped the old broken handle in place until the new one showed up.

The timer knob was cracked and the metal "D"-Ring was broken on my GE cloths dryer
This repair was a no brainer repair. The factory replacement knob that I bought from this site comes with a new "D"-Ring. Some other aftermarket parts houses sell the knob and the "D"-Ring as seperate parts. The knob from this site already has the "D"-Ring ring installed in the knob. My "D"-ring was broken and I simply removed it with my fingers. All I had to do was properly align the new know knob with the timer shaft and press it into place. If your "D"-ring is not broken and not still inside the old knob, you will need to pull it off the shaft with a pair of pliers before pressing the new knob onto the timer shaft. Loud noise
First I watched the repair video on partselect.com and that really helped. It was really easy to replace the slides. I even ordered a new top bearing, old one was busted, and replaced it. Thank you for your help.

thumping noise with any kind of load
looked at video of dryer disassemble, replaced 4 bearing slides, reassembled. Dryer is perfect now , no noise. thank you for your parts.

Plastic Door Handle Cracked
Old handle popped out by pulling back and out. Inserted new handle by pushing in and forward. Easy!

Wrong part number sent to me.
Didn't get to do repair because we were sent the wrong part number. Part number on box was correct but part in box was different number. So I had to pay $11.00 to send part back for refund plus original shipping of $10.00. So I'm out over $20 an still have no part to repair my dryer.

timer broken
remove screws from rear of dryer panel . remove timer knob . remove torques head screw from timer , twist timer to remove from mount . removed wires & mounted wires on new timer . mounted timer . replaced screws in rear panel of dryer .mount timer knob . WOULD RECCOMEND changing knob with timer .

It was a bit difficult because we ordered the wrong parts twice.
Handyman installed the finally correct switch. It was not the starter button.
This company was wonderful. Replaced each part without charge and rushed the replacements to us. Can' say enough good things to thank them for their courtesy.
