Timer knob would not turn as plastic was broken.
Removed small metal band on shaft and installed new knob.Very simple but the video that came with e-mail was helpful as I did not realize the metal band had to come off till I saw the video.

Cracked timer knob
I had found out that reason the timer knob cracked was because the timer switch was turning very tight and caused the knob to crack and realized that dryer also needed a timer switched witch I also ordered from you. I really like how very helpful parts select is with the instructions you send along with the parts I ordered witch will save alot of time. Thanks For your help Ezequiel Escamilla

the knob was cracked and the dryer would stay on settings..
pulled the old kob off and examined it and replaced it with the one i ordered...

Dryer would not start
We thought the timer was out on the dryer so I was looking for a new timer when I came across a video on your site about replacing a broken timer knob, so I decided to check the knob first and sure enough it was cracked. This video saved me a lot of time and money. Shipment was quick. Thanks.

Dryer Would Not Heat And Dry For Set Time
The knob had cracked on the back side. All you had to do is pull off the knob and slide the new one on. Pretty foolproof.

Timer knob cracked and would not turn shaft to set dryer time

Timer Knob cracked - needed to replace
Literally put the new knob onto the appliance and "WA-LA!" It worked no problem!

the timer knob would not turn on the dryer
Pulled off the knob, saw it was cracked, therefore it was not turning. The small metal part was stuck on the machine bit that the knob fits on so I pulled it off with a plier. Ordered a new timer knob that came with the metal part inside fit it on by hand in less than one minute.

Knob was cracked & slipped over settings.
Simply pulled off old Knob and pushed on new Knob. Saved a house call plus repair fee.

Timer knob cracked and dryer wouldn't start
Doesn't get any easier. Lined up the D shape on dryer and timer knob and just popped it in. Working great. I wanted to comment on the super fast shipping. I have never had anything ordered and delivered to my home so fast. It took less than 24 hours to get to my door from the time I ordered it and we chose just the regular ground shipping. Amazing!

Dryer timer knob had cracked and when turning the knob it would not rotate to setting desired
I went online and ordered the part number WE1M654 and it came within 2 days and just pulled the old knob off and inserted the new knob and it worked.
