Broken timer knob
All I had to do was snap it on and was ready to go. How easy was that. Would order any other parts again.

Knob to set timer wouldn't advance
Removed old knob, took a pair of needle nose plyers to remove wire band that was left behind from original knob. Slipped on new knob and voila! Easy fix! Now I need to replace rotary start switch.

Timer knob was stripped out.
Looked on-line for new knob. At GE website, part was $20 + shipping. On Parts select, part was $14 + shipping. Ordered on Friday, part delivered to house on Saturday. Installed in less than a minute. It worked. Wife is very happy. Life is good again.

Cound not set timer, knob was broken.
Silmply replaced the knob. This is the second knob I have replaced on this dryer. This time I bought two for when it happens again. Not sure if it is too much rension in the timer or too little strength in the knob, but is a design problem.

Broken Timer Knob
The fact that the knob on a 3yr old dryer broke was harder to deal with than the repair. It was lift the old knob off (it was very loose) and snugly slide the new knob on. I can get back to reading my book and my wife thinks I'm a hero win-win!

Broken Timer knob
Before ordering from PartSelect I had checked both the original vendor and a local repair shop. The vendor had nothing, said try online. The shop said they could order it for twice the price.
PartSelect sent exactly what I needed pronto. I pulled off the old knob. I pressed on the new knob.
Done.

Timer knob broke
The repair was pull old one off and replace new knob. Receiving the new knob was amazing. Ordered one afternoon and received new part by 11 am next morning at regular shipping. You can't ask for anything better than that. Thank you

Loud noise when running
I was teaching my associate how to do this repair so I showed him how to take off the top of the dryer. Then I showed him how to replace the drum slides. I had him clean out the dryer since we had it apart, and I also showed him how to remove the drum and then reinstall it. This was a very easy repair, and he learned a lot that he otherwise would not have known. Thanks for getting the parts to me so quickly. Rob from Clarks Summit.

Loud Grinding Noise
I followed the great tips from the other repairs and that part was easy. Turned out not to be the exact problem. The problem was the rear bearing shaft which in another 20 min I had the drum out and repaired. Now the dryer is like new and will hopefully last another 5 yrs.
