The best part of this story was I ordered the part on a Saturday and got it on Monday evening.
The repair took less than 20 seconds. I am extremely impressed with the fast fast fast shipping time.

After removing pieces that were stuck in the door, I simply popped the new handle in place. It took less than a minute. What was the easiest was ordering and receiving the new parts- I ordered and 2 days later I received the new parts. I didn't expect to get the new parts for at least a week.

open door, remove two screws from below the top. gently remove the top from the side and bottom panels. remove two 5/16 screws from front panel hold panel so it does not fall. the bearing assembly will come out by moving the bearing towards the dryer, and pulling upwards. replace with new bearing, use 4 front dryer slides and reinstall the top and front panel. can be done in less than 15 minutes

It went perfect , just put it in. No tools needed.

Watched a video online on how to replace the belt, it pretty much told me what to look for to get the drum out. Followed the instructions sent with the bearing kit and removed the old bearing assembly. Ran the screws supplied with the kit into the bearing assembly before I installed it. This was a tip I got off PartsSelect website. Running the screws in first is a must! Had my wife hold the assembly in place while I ran the screws in. That part of the job is the only time you need an extra set of hands. Put the dryer back together and it works like a quiet champ now.

The dryer made a loud squeal and I shut it off immediately.
1 - Unplug the dryer
2 - Took the top off and the front off the dryer
3 - Removed the 4 Front Dryer Drum Slides that were worn all the way through
4 - Pulled the bunched up Felt
5 - Vacuumed out the inside of the dryer -Very Important
6 - Put the drum slides in and felt piece
7 - Put the front on top back on
8 - Worked great

It was simple to get drum out. I took all screws holding top and door out with out problems, then released the drive belt. It took some wiggling to get the drum out. I then was able to get at the rear elements. Taking the wires off the thermostat came off with a little persuasion. Removing shaft from drum took some stretching as I was doing the work by myself. I would suggest that a helper be used for the removal and replacement of the shaft. Reassembly was easy. Just reverse of the above.

pulled off the top, pulled off the front then replaced the plastic that was supporting the front side of the drum. fairly easy to replace although the little plastic 'slides' (you need 4 of them)

Removed Two Screws securing top of dryer to front of dryer. Removed 4 screws securing button panel to back of dryer. Removed top and set it to the side.
removed 2 screws securing front to sides and removed front of dryer, leaving electrical connectors connected. Removed old felt from lower drum support and removed old worn out upper drum bearing(only one slide was left). Snapped new drum bearing into front, installed new slides on drum bearing and new felt. Reinstalled all components in reverse of dismantle and fired her up. Works like a charm. My children hated the electrical dryer I was using in interim.

First I removed the front and top panel to the dryer. I then popped of the drum bearing, popped the new one on, added slides and put the top and sides back on. Turned on the dryer and it works just like new. All for less than a repair man would come out on a call for.

Repair was VERY easy - 4 screws total! Used google to find a video online that showed the steps.

I have encountered this problem in the past. Over time, the front plastic drum bearing and the 4 front glide tabs wear down, requiring replacement. To start this repair, unplug the dryer and open the door. Remove the 2 philips screws under (top) of the open door frame that secure the top panel. Remove top panel by lifting up and pulling towards you. Remove the two philips screws (left and right) at the top inside front panel. Support the front panel and "swing" it gently to the left like opening a door, using caution not to damage the wires to the light at the bottom of the panel. Take this opportunity to vacuum out all the accumulated lint around the frames, drum, and vents to prevent any dryer fires. Remove the light bulb. Remove the damaged bearing by separating at the snap points. Save any old glides that are still serviceable. Install glides on the new bearing and punch out the plastic disc to uncover the light bulb hole. Install the new bearing, snapping securely into place, and making sure all wires and felts are secure and away from the drum movement area. Replace the bulb. Replace the front panel in a reverse motion, seating the bottom edges first (a second pair of hands is helpful here), then seating the drum onto the bearing and glides. Replace front panel screws. Replace top panel, fitting the tabs near the control panel first, then swinging down and in, using caution not to damage the control panel. Replace door frame screws to secure top panel. Plug in and test run, being sure to allow adequate time for the burner to light.

Took the top of the dryer off by removing two philips screws in front. Removed two screws holding the front of the dryer on. Pulled the front out enough to reveal the worn drum slides. Replaced them. Reassembled.
