Loud Squealling noise from dryer

Opened the door and removed 2 screws from inside/top of door. Removed top and then removed 2 screws from back of front panel. Lifted drum slightly to remove front panel and attached new slides.

knobs split so didn't catch

Find the knobs online, order, put knob in place upon arrival.

Timer knob was broken

took off the broken timer knob and put the new one on

The plastic Start knob broke

Just push the new knob over the metal pin

High Squeaking noise

I removed the top of the dryer and saw that the top two drum slides where gone and the drum bearing itself was damaged I Temporally placed the parts on the drum bearing until I got the new one, that stopped the squeaking noise. All I needed to do was place the part with the hole on the little hook and then sled the other part in its slot.

Timer Knob Was Broken

Replaced by hand. Took 5 seconds to repair.

Broken knob

Used pliers to remove old clip. Installed new clip and knob. Very easy.

Broken Dryer Knob

The old knob hasd split and wouldn't turn the dryer on

I took the visegrip pliers off the d shaft and simply slid the new knob on with ease. I never doubted my abilities!

Dryer would run for 4 minutes and shut off. keep turning it on

Faulty Door switch. Dryer would heat up so I knew it wasn't thermostat or element related.

Dryer makes noise when "Start" is pushed, but stops when you let go.

Dryer would turn on when you pushed the "on" button, but as soon as you let go, it would turn off. Found the plastic door switch cracked (from slamming door closed). Unplugged the dryer. Unscrewed the two screws inside the top of the door to unfasten the top panel. Took the top panel off. Then unscrewed the two screws on the side to unlatch the front panel. Used plyers to take the 3 wires off the switch and slid the switch through the front of the door. Juat remember where the wires go. Then inserted new switch and connected the wires. Vacuumed out the dryer and reassembled. It took about 20 minutes and was easy! If I can do it, you can!!!

Dryer would not start

We thought the timer was out on the dryer so I was looking for a new timer when I came across a video on your site about replacing a broken timer knob, so I decided to check the knob first and sure enough it was cracked. This video saved me a lot of time and money. Shipment was quick. Thanks.

Cracked timer knob

I had found out that reason the timer knob cracked was because the timer switch was turning very tight and caused the knob to crack and realized that dryer also needed a timer switched witch I also ordered from you. I really like how very helpful parts select is with the instructions you send along with the parts I ordered witch will save alot of time. Thanks For your help Ezequiel Escamilla

Dryer timer knob had cracked and when turning the knob it would not rotate to setting desired

I went online and ordered the part number WE1M654 and it came within 2 days and just pulled the old knob off and inserted the new knob and it worked.

took the knob out of the bag and snapped it into place...all done!!!
