Shreking noise when turning on, then loud noise from dryer, after a few minutes it would not be so loud but louder than normal.
Replaced everything on the dryer till I got the right problem, seriously, I now have a new dryer in an old body, still came out alot cheaper than buying a new one. I listened to every sound on youtube but none sounded like my dryer.

Dryer did not stay hot through complete cycle
This repair took about fifteen minutes. I popped the top of the dryer using a flat-blade screwdriver, leaned it back against the back wall, unscrewed two screws holding the front panel, removed the five electrical spade contacts after marking which went where, swung out the panel and lifted it off. After that, it was a simple job to unscrew the plate holding the solenoids in, at the bottom left of the unit. I replaced the solenoids, closed everything up and now the dryer is working better than it has in the last three years, or so. If your dryer is heating sporadically, the odds are 85%, or more, that a solenoid swap-out will correct the problem.

Heat would come on but not stay on.
Flame Sensor didn't fix it but, it was easy to replace. Unplug electric. Lift up the top and remove wires from switch and light switch. Remove screws that hold on the front and remove front panel by lifting up and out. Sensor is on the left side of the burner, held on with just one screw. EASY!

Dryer was not drying completly.
I replaced the Control Thermistor (part # PS1149368) by removing the two screws on the bottom of the lower panel below the door. You will see the Control Thermistor just below and to the left of the discharge chute. Remove the two screws holding the Control Thermistor in place. Disconnect the two wire and reconnect to new Control Thermistor. Replace screws in reverse order of above.

Door handle broke on one end
I had to grip the broken piece that was still attached to the screw with a pair of needle nose pliers and then unscrew it from the back side. After taking the screw out of the other end,I just put the new handle on and screwed it in. Very easy!

I pulled half of the door handle off of my washing machine.
The new door handle was sent out the day I ordered it and arrived in three days! I unscrewed the old door and screwed in the new door (the new door handle didn't come with screws but the old screws were still perfectly good to use). My husband was impressed when he arrived home from his business trip!

Dryer ran, had no heat
Your website was very helpful in narrowing down and diaganosing the problem. A continuity tester verified an open solenoid. Ordered Sunday evening, parts arrived Tuesday. Ignition coils drop in place with a holddown bracket and one screw. Wiring harness is reattached. Front of dryer is put in place followed by the top. Plugged in the dryer (it is just commom sense to have the power off). Started dryer, of course it ran WITH heat. The end of the story is HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE. Happy to do business with you. Tom , MI
