No dial on the dryer
My mother, age 79, had been using a pliers to adjust the settings on her Frigidaire dryer, since the dial was lost years ago. She could never "get it right." I looked on-line and found Part Select (after 1st getting lost on the Frigidaire web-site). Easy to find the part, quick ordering and delivery. My mom's delighted with the easy fix.

Dryer ran, had no heat
Your website was very helpful in narrowing down and diaganosing the problem. A continuity tester verified an open solenoid. Ordered Sunday evening, parts arrived Tuesday. Ignition coils drop in place with a holddown bracket and one screw. Wiring harness is reattached. Front of dryer is put in place followed by the top. Plugged in the dryer (it is just commom sense to have the power off). Started dryer, of course it ran WITH heat. The end of the story is HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE. Happy to do business with you. Loud screeching noise, barrel turned OK and Heater worked
I took the lower back panel off. Loosened the center bolt and took off the old Idler pulley. It looked brown in the middle and didn't roll well. But I wasn't sure if that was it, because the noise was so loud and sounded metal on metal. So I checked everything and vacuumed everything. After I got the new part it took me about 5 minutes to put the new one on. And dryer works fine. Thanks for the quick response and I saved about $200.00!

Timer Knob broke.
I simply pushed the knob back onto the post. No problem! Now I don't need pliers to turn my dryer on. Yippee! (And the part was cheap-less than $10.00).

The Knob Broke Years Ago
I finally found this great website that not only had the part, but directions on how to do the work. The part came to my house in about 4 days. After 9 years of being broken, it is refreshing to have it fixed. I have bookmarked this site for ANY future repairs.
