Detergent dispenser didn't open consistently
My soap dispenser latch was coated in grit, the gasket was deteriorated, and the spring was barely strong enough to open the door, so the door didn't always latch closed or open when it should. I followed the video and everything went exactly as shown. Once the liner was removed, I discovered the back (including the latch mechanism) was covered in soap residue and other gunk. I hosed it off on the backyard and resumed the repair. The dispenser now latches easily and opens with a convincing SNAP. I wouldn't have known how to replace the latch without the video. Great website!

Dishwasher will not drain.
Turned off electric to machine.Removed water with shop vac, Removed lower panel, removed drain hose from check valve and garbage disposal. using shop vac removed blockage from drain hose. Reconnected hose turned on electric cycled dishwasher. Didn't work. Turned off electric, removed water, removed basket, sprayer arm, pump cover, used a six point deep socket to hold impeller while removing 1/4 in. screw. Removed the impeller and found the problem. The lower impeller shaft is broke. removed separator, chopper blade and spring, removed pump cover and broken drain impeller and lower seal. Cleaned all old parts and installed new drain pump kit. Replaced spray arm , basket . Turned electric on, cycled the machine one time. Checked for leaks, replaced lower panels. Put away tools. Your video was very helpful. Your service was great. I received the parts the next day after ordering them. thank you. thank you.

The motor was spinning freely and not pumping out the water.
We followed the excellent video until we couldn't remove the outlet impeller because the motor shaft was not being held by the failed impeller. We drilled small holes around the impeller shaft until we could break off the upper part of the pump shell. Then we could hold the motor shaft with a vice-grip pliers by squeezing the shaft of the remaing impeller piece. We then removed the retaining screw and the rest of the impeller. Then evrything went well by following the video. There was still a bit of doubt because we discarded more old parts then expected but the machine now works well and we see no leaks.

Lid Spring
Performed repair as to Video shown in receipt after purchase of spring plus we used a friend who has same dishwasher and has performed the same repair recently, video was easier to follow though. All you do is push off lid with a screwdriver and pop off as per instructions on video then unlatch spring from ledge and pull off post, then just reinsert new spring in reverse order or follow video instructions either way is easy and takes about 15-20 minutes to install

detergent dispencer door spring and pin worn
I installed the opener spring in the direction it was needed to open the door then installed the pin. I placed the door in the position it goes and took a pair of pliers and squeezed the pin into the pin slot. the spring has to be forced into a tension position. I did this by sliding the spring to one side and forcing it into position, the other side is done the same way. works great

Several of the wheels for the lower rack had fallen off.
I removed the rack and then pushed down on the old rollers to remove them from the rack. I then installed the new rollers in the same location.

leaking badly & not cleaning dishes
You need a properly sized hex (Allen) wrench to get the screws out. Basically simple: remover bottom roller tray, unscrew large plastic holding bolt, remove lower spray arm, unscrew bolts (be sure the wrench is sized right or you might strip the heads), and replace gasket; then reverse procedure. Chances are if the gasket was bad, it will be very obvious (out of circular slot and stretched).

Upper spray arm broke off.
Had to clip the part onto the upper rack. It was a little tight at first, then all of a sudden it just snapped in. Voila, as good as new.

Remove/Replace Upper Spray Arm
Tried using my hands to bend back the locking plastic connectors enough to get them onto the metal upper storage rack;was afraid of breaking the connectors so I used my utility tool needle nose pliers to give me leverage. This time I was successful. Believe me,it was frustrating for what seemed a long time. No,for me it was not easy.

Wheels on Rack Needed to be Replaced
A VERY easy repair! I simply pried off the old wheel assemblies with a screw driver and popped on the new ones. I was a little concerned about the new ones fitting correctly as the dishwasher is over 25 years old, but after a week they still work fine. An easy fix to an annoying problem....wish I had ordered these ages ago! Bottom rack of my dishwasher now rolls in and out like new (instead of the the few remaining wheels constantly falling off!) Very happy I ordered these and delivery was quick.

Dishwasher wouldn't drain
Turn off the breaker to the dishwasher - there will be water very near the motor and other electrical components. I first scooped and towelled all the water out of the bottom of the dishwasher. The drain valve can be accessed from the bottom front of the dishwasher without pulling the unit out from under the counter. There were 4 screws to remove the 2 bottom metal panels. Next use pliers to loosen and slide back the hose clamp connected to the drain. Have a towel ready and pull the drain hose off the white check valve. The check valve can then be removed by unscrewing it - you may need to use pliers. Put the new one on and everything back together.

the rollers were completly broken off & I had to lift the bottom tray in/out of the dishwasher
popped off the old rollers + tracks; then snapped on the new ones; as my granddaughter would say "easy peasy lemon squeezy". Took hardly any time at all. :-)
