This water inlet valve should be located behind the lower kickplate panel in either the right or left corner. The attaching solenoids on the valve open and close according to the desired amount of water needed.

When the rinse aid actuator is activated the actuator will lift up the plunger which it will allow the liquid to dispense in to the dishwasher for the proper cycle.

This covers the drain impeller and won't allow larger particles through to the impeller/motor/pump area.
