MDB9750BWS10 Maytag Dishwasher - Instructions

after reading a article on problems the logic one was frist the door. Order the part ,took off the inter panel with star slot (10)exposed the handle and switch. Removed it, abit hard at frist,then replacement went in easy , the washer worked.
I guess I was lucky because on the other side of handle similar type of part thats maytag for you.

Removed top tray. Removed old wash arm (rotating) and installed new one using a screw driver.

Manualy un-snapped station docking (w/flapper) and removed. Snapped in new one.

The part broke off a while ago, and I did not want to call a repair person. The machine still ran, so I ran it with the part missing - the glasses were not very clean, but the repair call was expensive...

I figured that I had a snowballs chance of finding the part number on a molded plastic piece with no numbers printed on it. Boy was I wrong. I was able to choose the part off of a schematic of my machine right on the website and it linked me to the right part order form, so I did not even have to go back and find it on a list.

When the part came, all I had to do was unclip the old mount- with my fingers- no tools, and snap in the new part.

Removed assembly holding the docking station to insure the passageway was clear. I reversed the flappers and noticed an improvement in cleaning then decided to order a new part. Installation was simple and the repair seems to have worked well.

Accumulator was as easy as just removing srews and replacing the part. The Float I broke by accident and was more complicated to replace required 2 people to manage parts.
Dishes finally coming out clean!

I just pulled out the old baskets and repositioned the new ones from PartSelect.com. No tools were needed!

I removed the old rack adjuster by unscrewing four screws. I put the new rack adjuster in place, carefully fitted the adjustment parts together, then replaced the four screws. The best part of the repair was that Parts Select had originally indicated that my part would be on back order for a few weeks, but I actually received the part within just a few days. What a nice surprise - thanks!

Very simple! First, free the wheel from the rail - should come right out if the wheel is broken. Then click the wheel base off the small shelf rod by rotating the wheel bse. Then, click the rail end cap off the rail by pressing it through the small square hole in the flat side of the rail. Insert the wheel into the rail, then click the wheel base back onto the shelf rail rod where you took the old one off. Click the rail end cap back on, and you're done!

Took the dishwaher apart. Found out the float was damaged. Replaced the float and the float switch. Put back together

Snapped out the old retainer, snapped in the new. Then snapped in the washer arm. Done. Works great.

Removed the bottom cover.with a flashlight and a mirror found the problem. Went to Maytag they told me that in 8 warehouses there were no parts. They did give me a enlarged view of the part that I needed. went on the computer to PartSelect called PartSelect talked to a very helpfull Lady ordered my parts. Job is done Mama's happy Lifeis good. Removed the bottom tray. Removed the two clips in the top tray guides and removed the top tray. Removed the top spray arm and transfer tube by unclipping it from the top and at the back and then rotated it down and out. Removed the six screws around the upper pump housing and removed it along with the bottom spray arm. Removed the three screws holding the filter protector plate and removed it. Removed the two screws holding the accumulator / flow plate and removed it. Put it back together in reverse order careful to not over tighten the screws.

Initially ordered the rack adjuster assembly, not realizing that I would also need the adjuster lever and adjuster cover, too. This piece is NOT what originally came with our unit. The line drawing for part 17 shows what our unit looks like. That part has apparently been discontinued and we were guided by Maytag to order this substitution, which is actually a Whirlpool part. Thought someone else might want to know this if they happen to have the same series of Maytag DW as we do. It fits well onto the rack, however, the location of the wheels on the unit are different than the original which means that the middle rack now slides out of the dishwasher about 3" less than it used to, which is kind of a bummer. All that said, the repair was a piece of cake and the hubs on the wheels are now metal instead of the original plastic. . .I expect this part to last a good long while!

I unscrewed the old rack adjuster assembly and screwed the new one on (this was after I took the rack out of the diswasher) -- I actually saved one of the old intact plastic wheels for future repairs.

First I watched the repair video provided at your site. Once I got the right part, it went like a breeze. Just a phillips head screw driver and 5 minutes of my time. Speaking if the right part.... I would suggest that you remove the 'LATCH-DOOR-NO Handle' from your parts list.It only cause confusion in ordering the part I needed, and a loss of several days time in the repair cycle.
All in all, a good repair experience. I would reccommend you to my " Do It Yourself" friends.
