The dishwasher door would fall open
I thought the door springs were broken so I ordered both springs and cables. After the parts arrived I removed the six screws that hold the dishwasher in place and slid the dishwasher out about five inches. Neither of the springs were broken but one of the cables was broken. I changed both cables, slid the dishwasher back in place and replaced the screws. The whole job took about 20 minutes. It was a very easy job.

Soap not dispensing
I followed the you tube video exactly. Very easy to do. I did not tighten the screws sequentially as shown in the video, rather I did the opposite ones to make sure nothing was skewed. Very easy, about 20 minutes.

Redeco kitchen black to stainless
1. Removed door inside plastic panel, 2. Removed additional screws holding panel to hinge brackets and control panel, 3. Figured out that this would all have been easier if I'd unhooked door hinge springs first (access from sides), 4. Removed isulation from old panel and reglued to new panel, 5 Reassembled, hooking up door springs last. Voila!

Dishes were coming out dirty... cloudy and white.
I know that I have very hard water, but am reluctant to get a softener. I hope that changing the "guts" of the water delivery to my dishwasher will help...already replaced the filters which helped too... so far, it's a little better.
Installation was a breeze. Took off the upper, middle and lower spray arms. Had to loosen screws in filter assembly to remove old manifold. Popped everything into place... had to scrape mineral deposits off clips that support manifold and upper spray arms.

Cable broke
Removed two screws at the top of the base washer. Three screws removed down both sides of the base washer. Lifted washer out enough to see the cable and spring connections. Removed cable and replaced with new and re-connected. Slid washer back into position and installed screws.

Dishwasher wont turn on. Difficult to open
It has been a while since I replaced the handle so I may miss some steps but it was easy to do.
To change the Handle. Turn off the power. Open the front door and undo the torx screws from around the door. Lift up the panel. Remove the broken handle and lugs and insert the new handle.(Their may have been a couple of screws on the latching mechanism that had too be removed to replace the handle)
After replacing the handle the door would open and shut like a new one but the dishwasher still would not turn on. On further inspection I found a fractured joint on a relay on the control board . Resoldered it and it is working great.
The delivery of the part from Parts Select was great,I got the part next day in California.

dishes had small bits of food stuck on
I removed the main plastic bolt with a pliers and then just used a screwgun with a star tip for all the screws.
I am a 43 year old woman with no experience and I was able to figure it out. The machine cleans much better now.

handle did not work properly and unit would not turn off when door was opened
I removed the inside door panel, unplugged the old assembly and replaced with the new. The only caveat is that I THOUGHT the unit came WITH a new plastic handle, and it did not. It was very difficult to remove the handle from the old unit, and to install it in the new unit. The description was not adequate. I had read other blogs and they warned of the same missing handle, and I thought I had ordered correctly. The repair is fine, but the old handle is cracked, so I dont know how long it will last.

Plastic Handle broke (again!)
First I made sure the breaker for the appliance was turned off!
I only had to unscrew all the screws from the inside door.
Next I used pliers to pry the old Latch Assembly (it is all pig tailed so only to plugs to undo).
Next, I snapped the new Latch Assembly into the two sockets.
Screws were replaced and wa la!
Turned breaker on and tested. Easy as pie. Took about 10 minutes from collecting the tools, fixing the problem, and replacing all the tools.
I actually had my 14 year old daughter do it so that she could learn how to make small repairs. This would have easily cost approximately $150 for a repairman to come and fix.
Then we went to the garage and unstuck the valve on the carberator to our '75 Chevy! (it was cold).
Not bad for a couple of girls!
