The wax motor is used to disengage the detergent dispenser door. It heats up to push a piston, which in turn opens the dispenser door.

This drain solenoid kit consists of two pieces: the solenoid, and the plunger. These two pieces come together already assembled.

This part is used to open and shut the dispenser lid.
