Dish washer was leaking water
I disconnected the dish washer and pulled it out. I laid it on its back, unplugged the electrical wires, removed the electrical magnet and pried the shaft seal out with a flat screwdriver. I gently packed the new seal into place with the flat screwdriver. I connected the electrical magnet and wires. I then installed the dish washer and ran it through a cycle. I am pleased to say the dish washer does not leak now.

Dishwasher does not fill with water
Turn off power, remove the lower kick plate and lower trim panel with the nutdriver. The float switch is in the front on the left. Remove the two wires on the switch. Use a #1 philips to remove the one screw holding the switch to the frame. Remove switch. Install wires on new switch and install switch using the screw. Be sure to get the plastic float arm under the switch. Raise float and observe the switch clicking on and off. Replace lower plates and restore power.

DISHWASHER DOOR WOULD DROP IF OPENED AND NOT HELD ONTO
***BEFORE STARTING BE SURE TO TURN OFF THE POWER!!
THE SPRING TENSION WAS GONE THAT WOULD KEEP THE DOOR FROM FALLING. KEEP IN MIND THERE IS A DOOR SPRING AND LINKAGE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE DOOR. SO BUY 2 OF EACH AND RETURN THE ONES YOU DON'T USE. IF YOU REPLACE THE LINKAGE ON ONE SIDE YOU MIGHT AS WELL CHANGE THE OTHER ONE SINCE IT'S ONLY A SMALL PLASTIC PIECE.
FOR ME THE SPRING WAS GOOD - ONLY REPLACED THE LINKAGE. REMOVED THE PANEL AT THE BOTTOM AND THE 2 SCREWS THAT HELD IT UNDER THE COUNTER TOP. I DIDN'T DISCONNECT THE WATER BUT WAS ABLE TO PULL THE UNIT OUT JUST ENOUGH (10 INCHES OR SO) TO GET TO THE SPRING. HELD IT IN PLACE WITH THE VISE GRIP SO IT DIDN'T FALL BEHIND THE UNIT. FYI - YOU MIGHT HAVE TO ADJUST THE TENSIONER ON THE BOTTOM IF YOUR SPRING TOOK A WALK WHEN THE LINKAGE BROKE. BE CAREFUL PUSHING THE UNIT BACK UNDER THE COUNTER. TOOK ME ABOUT AN HOUR AND SAVED SOME MONEY

Dishwasher operation intermittent
advisor showed a 30% chance that the part in question would solve my problem and it did. Had help from my 12 year old so it was a great teaching moment. She particularly liked when I forgot a part in final installation and she had to remind me to install before closing up the repair. 15 minutes total. Awesome fun!

Water leak
From other comments on this site, I learned that 2 people fixed the problem with a new door gasket; 3 fixed the problem by replacing the dispenser latch. I tried the gasket and it helped some (obviously needed replacement anyway) but then learned that the rubber boot around the soap dispenser latch was torn into two pieces. Replaced it and good-to-go.

Broken Door Spring Linkage
Turned off the water. Disconnected the water supply line. Extracted 2 screws holding the dishwasher. Pulled out the dishwasher. Changed out the nylon spring link. Pushed the dishwasher back into place. Reattached the water line. Turned the water back on.
Spring linkage and postage about $15.00.
Savings on service call and parts about $175.00. What a deal. Thank you PartSelect.

rollers broke
They just snapped in to place. Once I realized where they went. They are not the exact rollers needed but will do until I get the right ones. The rack will not come out as far as it should because of the difference. Other than that....easy.

Dishwasher would turn on
I removed the inside panel. This exposed the rear of the control panel. I carefully replaced the defective switch. Only one was bad but of course i replaced both.

Dishwasher did not turn on
I determined that the problem was the door switch after disassembling the door and noting a broken electrica switch. After receiving the new part, I replaced the whole door switch assembly, and the dishwasher turns on and works fine.

Door wouldn't open slowly
I pulled the unit out its bay and saw that one spring was missing. I looked up the parts online and ordered replacement springs and linkages. Using the existing spring and linkage as models, I easily installed the new parts. I ordered spare parts in case the other linkage broke.

Dishwasher Piddled on Kitchen Floor
I found references that the grommet on the detergent door release was letting water through.
I cut off power to the unit as I knew I was going to be working around electric connections a bit.
7 or so screws held the plastic internal panel to the door.
Once the plastic was pried up from the balance of the door it was nice to have some help holding the plastic panel up and the balance of the door down.
Two hex head screws had to be undone. One was behind a lever that I pulled out and bent a little to get behind. I might have sketched the parts before and during disassembling the plastic parts so it would be easier to put together. I was careful not to lose the spring. After the new release lever and the grommet were in, the parts only went together one way, although a sketch would have sped up the process, I suspect.
The last trick is that the pivot point for the door release is two slots on the plastic panel. Those make it so the door release pivots on one point.
Looks good. I hope it works when I run it. Figures, a dishwasher all spiffed up and not enough dirty dishes to run it!

Water leak right side
I fiest replaced the door latch and grommet. Thanks to other's repairs, I purchased the latch and grommet as well as the door gasket. It took a bit longer to replace the grommet and latch as it was covered in scale and the entire assembly needed cleaning first. The door gasket installed very easily and I am happy to say no more leaks. Great site and very helpful with the customer comments as well as the videos available witht he parts list detailing installation procedures. Excellant site I will revisit if I need any parts for other appliances. Thank you.

The soap dispenser wouldn't open
First I'll say that the parts arrived very promptly. Once I removed the 12 screws on this model and exposed the Wax Motor (why they call it Wax is baffling) I simply used the needle nose pliers to pull the 2 wire connectors from the motor. Because these motors come with a long extension nose, and this model dishwasher requires a shorter nose, I used a wire cutter to trim the nose to the proper length. I re-connected the wires, slid the motor in its' space and replaced all the screws for the front panels. Done.

Our 14 year old Maytag dishwasher needed new springs for the door
We hired a handyman, who recommended we go online to order the parts. They arrived
at my door in less that 24 hrs! Luckily, the handyman was back the next day as well, and
he installed the new springs and spring linkage.
