Water leak around door of dishwasher
I removed the gasket from the packaging & soaked it in hot water for approx 5 minutes to enhance the pliability of the rubber. I them opened the dishwasher door and removed the existing gasket, making sure I observed any specifics of the gasket, (ie...shape of gasket). I then cleaned any debris from the gasket channel. I took the new gasket from the water and folded it in half to determine where the middle was, and I started inserting the gasket beginning at the middle area of the channel, (just under the door latching mechanism). I finished inserting both sides and then closed the door for approximately 30 minutes to complete the gasket seating process. No leaks!!!

The upper basket was falling apart
popped the two end caps off of the runners (the hardest part of the installation was figuring out how to pop them without braking them). Turns out just using a flat screw driver to start opening the cap lock did the trick. Once the end caps were off it was just a matter of rolling the old one off and the new one on and then putting the end caps back on.
The new basket wasn't an exact match, it's lighter weight and doesn't have the exact same configuration as far as the rows of tines. This will do us fine until it's time to replace the unit.

Water leak from the lower area of the door opening
The repair went great. Very simple process to remove the old gasket and just press the new one in by hand. Total time to repair was 3 minutes. This was a very easy process, only needed to use a screw driver and my fingers to do it. The water leak was over. Anyone can do this repair. Don't think about getting a new dishwasher, or a plumber, as this is a very
simple repair that will easily do the fix!

Door spring linkage broken
Un screwed the dishwasher from the underside of my kithcen counter. Removed the copper water hose(after turning off water valves). PUlled the dishwasher from under counter to expose the hinges. Hung the new linkage on the hinge. Stetched the spring from flange on the bottom of the dishwasher to the new linkage. Reattached hose and reconnected the unit to counter top. Job done.

Dishwasher stopped in between it's cycles until door was wiggled and pushed in again
Kill power to unit. Lower door. Hold down door and remove inner plastic door cover torx screws, rotate up and use inner door cover to brace outer spring loaded door from closing. lift off metal strap that runs along top edge of door. Unsnap black plastic cover.Latch is under cover. Unplug wires with pliers (they just pull off) after noting where they go. Unscrew single hex head screw and remove latch assembly. inside latch will be reused with the new latch switch holder. Pry up plastic clip keepers and remove inside latch. Depending on age they might break, no big deal you will use the new holder anyway. orient and install switches into holder, install inner latch and install assembly back onto door. Install wires, cover, metal strip and inner door in reverse order. Very easy to do. Parts worked perfect.

door spring linkage, a plastic part, broke so the door spring didn't hold the door upright.
Took off the lower front plastic piece and unscrewed the side panel to snap the new part in place then attached the spring to it.

The plastic linkage that connect the spring to the door broke
The time to hook up the spring was a minute or two. I simply attached the linkage to the door and then attached the spring to the linkage. The extra time in the repair was re-attaching the cover.

Leaking dishwasher door
I first replaced the seal/grommet around the soap dispenser latch, which was leaking, but did not totally stop the leak. I ended up ordering the door gasket too. Both were very easy to replace. My wife wanted a new dishwasher, but let me take a crack at fixing the leak first. Woo Hoo - big $$$ saved.

water on floor under dishwasher
The problem would rarely happen if the dishwasher was fully loaded vs. lightly loaded; which would produce a lot of water rapidly during the spray cycles. (or empty during the house inspection!). Removing and replacing the door gasket is super-easy.
