door would no longer catch when shut
Having read the instructions and watched the tape, I pried out the remaining catch with a flat screwdriver, read about what the color scheme on the parts wasbout and pushed in the correct part. Voila ! Done in probably two minutes.(By an 82 year old woman!)

door would open during drying cycle and shut off machine
Got online with parts select, easily found the parts needed and ordered them. They arrived very quickly. The repair itself took all of 5 minutes and now the dryer door stays shut like it is supposed to. Only complaint is shipping was more than the parts but then again, I didn't waste a lot of time running all over town looking for what I needed. So, in the long run I saved money , especially when compared to a calling someone else to fix it.(big bucks for even the most minor service call as you all know).

Soap Cup Lid was not opening during main wash cycle
Very easy. Disconnect power to the dishwasher via a breaker or fuse. Open the door and remove just the 4 screws on the inside lip of the door. Do not remove the screws hoding the closing brackets. Remove the front glass and chrome panel between the control panel and the kick panel. This will give you access to the soap cup and bi-metal. Remove the one retaining screw and remove the bi-metal,taking note of the position of the wires. Remove the wires, by grasping the connectors (I used needle nose pliers for this), not the wires, and re-intsall them on the new bi-metal. Re-install bi-metal on soap cup assembly, "cock" the release lever by closing the soap cup cover and manually trip the bi-metal to make sure it will release the lever and open the cover. Re-install the front panel with screws. Restore power and test appliance.

Needed a faucet connector
I bought the portable dishwasher on Craigslist, and it didn't have the connector that goes on the kitchen faucet. Ordered it here, got it in a few days, and didn't need any tools - just had to screw it on. Good as gold!

Could not fit hoses for portable dishwasher onto existing faucet
I knew I needed a faucet adapter, but thought I could just go to my local home depot and get the part...not so much. After 3 trips and not getting the part I truly needed I ordered the part from partselect. I received it literally the day after I ordered it, screwed in place with no tools, attached the coupler/hoses to the faucet and washed dishes. I wish I would have ordered the part from partselect before even bother with home depot. I would have saved myself a lot of trouble! Extremely happy! Thank you!

A gift portable dishwasher did not have the faucet adapter.
Found the adapter on Parts select through a google search. Unscrewed the existing faucet aerator and srewed in the adapter. The plastic shrink wrap holds the washer and screen in place, so don't open it until you're ready to install. Finger snug does it, only use the pliers to remover the old aerator from the faucet. Normally, I don't use pliers, but both of these parts were round and had vertical serrations to engare the plier teeth.
