I used both epoxy on the male threads and then pulled out the case and twisted the flat car body flat kind of a nut. Let it sit for 36 hours and now like new.

if the wire they snap on was bent it needs to be straightend.......they just snap on. easy to install but wish they had better wheels so this problem would be solved. My 2 sons have same brand dishwashers and have same problem.

Removed old hose and went to install new hose from Part Select. Part received was not the same as advertised. It was 6-8 inches shorter than the original hose. Would not make the necessary turns because of shorter length. I even went to Video instruction on installation even though I have been in Machine repair for 30 years , this video showed using the shorter hose and when installed in the video hose also had a kink because of hose length. Had to stop repair and go to hardware store and purchase a longer hose. This purchased hose from the hardware was 50% cheaper and actually worked. I also paid for 2-3 day shipping and received part 7 days later. I am very disappointed with Parts Select and am an owner of an Equipment Rental Facility and will never utilize Parts Select again.

I removed the door panel and ran the dishwasher to determine where it was leaking. Ordered the parts. When parts arrived I removed door in order to get at the bottom door gasket, replace it, and removed the tube gasket and replaced it with new parts. The whole job was very easy for a person that's never repaired a dishwasher before. I also found that the return tube gasket at the top of the dishwasher was leaking and repaired that by making a new gasket out of a flat piece of rubber and an o-ring. All leaks have been repaired. With regards to the return tube issue, it may have only been loose and if so, I could have just tightened the return tube outlet and gotten the same results. The people at this site were excellent. This was a dishwasher that my employer threw out due to the excessive time it was going to take getting the broken part - all of the appliance stores I contacted had them backordered. Since I'm a DIY and Internet savvy person, I decided to go to the Internet page and use the IPB to determine the correct part, and ordered it. I installed the dishwasher, and waited...
10 days after ordering the part, it came right to my door. Installation was very simple; remove 7 Phillips screws from the front panel to access the latch mechanism, remove the two Torx screws holding the latch assembly, disconnect the wires from the latch assembly, and do the reverse procedure to re-install. No latch alignment was necessary, just screw the assembly right back in place. (Yes, I made sure the power had been disconnected!) The door gasket did not need to be replaced at this time.
A very quick and simple procedure for the DIY-type person that can handle simple tools.

Turn off power. Took out screws holding control cover on, (left loose and hanging in the front of the door by the connector wires).Disconnected the two wires at the bottom of the switch. Removed two torx screws, pulled switch out. Reversed procedure to install new switch (which isan exact replacement). turned power back on, tested door latch, washer works perfectly again.

First of all, I got the part 24 hours after I ordered it. That in it self was a feat. Second, I followed everyone elses instructions, pulled the old gasket out with a pair of needle nose pliers, cleaned the area as good as I could, found the notch for the slot on the gasket to slide into and viola...it slid in and stayed in. No more leakage whatsoever! Thanks for all of the tips!

Pulled off the old gasket and replaced it the same way with the new one.

I snapped the new one into place and ran the cycle. This time, everything came out clean, except for the bowl that had caked on cinnamon from the weeks I didn't have the part

I followed directions from a video on this site and written directions in order to make the repairs. Pulled out the old gasket from one end with pliers . I cleaned out the slot in the door of any food or dirt and replaced with the new gasket. It was a very easy and quick repair that allowed me to use my dishwasher quickly. Thanks for the help.

Simply pulled old gasket out with hand, and slid the new one in place!

Had trouble installing the new gasket at first. Fell inside the door, and would not stay in the groove intended for it. After watching the video on your website, learned is best to angle the gasket and work in slowly to the groove from one side. Much easier then

first of all, my name is virginia , I ordered the part for my husband and because of his work schedule I decided to try to fix it myself. It was very easy, about 8 screws and it was out and the new one was in and working. see, girls can do repairs ourselves.

I measured the length of the gasket, using the old one to measure the length. Cut it to that length and installed it. VERY SIMPLE TO DO! But it didn't stop my leak--turns out there was a small leak in the bottom of the tub that was easily fixed with some silicone. The dishwasher's like new now!
