water not completely draining and dishwashing action not very effiencent
I went to your site and check all the diagrams and then read the postings from others. I turned off the electrical breaker then took off the lower cover of the dishwasher. After disconnecting the water and electricial connections I was able to remove the 2 screws holding the unit in place and it came right out. I turned the unit over and was able to just remove the old part and put the new part in place. The whole job took me about one hour but I had never worked on a dishwasher before. Your site made the repair very easy to do on my own.

Old pump was making noise and leaking.
Turn water off and unplug unit first. I remove the 2 retaining screws under counter, pulled out dishwasher. I laid it on it's side to get to pump, loosen up Hose clamps on inlet and outlet ports on pump. You may need a towel or rags to soak up a small amount of water from hoses and old pump. Removed the two hoses on the side, note the lowest one is the drain hose. Un plug all wire connections and loosen support bracket. Removed old pump and installed new one in reverse order. I had to use the 90* adapter hose and the white adapter for my drain hose. The kit contains all adapters and it all fits perfect. Reinstalled and tested unit worked great!!!

Dishwasher wouldn't pump all the water out every time. And developed a small water leak.
Recieved universal parts f/ pump & mtr assy. sorted them out, picked the ones I needed to complete my repair. Installed new assy, checked operation and was completly done in about an hour.
My old bones needed a break, or I could have been done faster. All's well, and the dirty dishes are back getting cleaned via machine, and not us.

pump seized up
replaced pump and motor with new one. worked but pump would not empty the water. ordered additional parts check valve, seal and box that check valve screwed into. did not fix problem. Got to looking at replacement pump and discovered thet discharge solonoid was not completely opening the discharge port. I could hold it down manually and the machine would empty. I reported the problem to parts select and they without question shipped me a new pump and motor. took the dishwasher out of the wall again and swapped them out, and now it works fine. the repair was easy and simple. the difficulty was taking the dishwasher out and reinstalling it 3 times. I will use parts select again if the need arises.

Leaking and not washing
Pulled the dishwasher out from under the counter using a little rug to keep the metal feet from scratching the tile. It is surprisingly light. Old motor and pump are held in mainly by pipe clamps, easy to remove once the washer has been pulled out and turned on its side.
The instructions that came with the pump kit show how to set it up for several different dishwashers. Once you figure out which one you have it is quite easy to set it up. Mine leaked when I first started it up. I pulled it back out and re-tightened the large pipe clamps and it now runs dry.
The dishwasher runs quieter and the dishes come out clean now.

Old Timer stopped moving
My old timer stopped rotating. Ordered this one. It showed up and the part number is off by one digit. Put the new one in, and the timer rotates fine, however water is no longer coming into the dishwasher. Put the old timer back in and manually rotated it and water comes in no problem. So we figured the old timer's electrical motor is burned out, and the new timer's signaling function is probably a bit different.
Turns out the motor is really easy to remove, just pry the metal latch out a bit with a flat screwdriver and out it comes. We put the motor from the new timer on our old timer, and presto, everything works!
Like other reviewers said here, pop off the seven screws and the interior door panel comes right off. Disconnect the power plug, signal plug and ground plug and reverse the procedure. Really easy repair. Make sure you shut off the fuse panel before starting the repair.

leaking water
Originally replaced solenoid without pulling unit out, but continued to leak. Purchased the entire motor and pump kit; pulled unit out, turned it on end and replaced the motor. The only problem was that no new ground screw was sent with the kit and the existing screw wasn't quite short enough to connect. Either the hole on the replacement kit needs to be deeper or a bond screw needs to be sent that will fit the new kit. We had to find our own screw that would fit properly.
