Dishwasher Sprang a Huge Leak
I pulled out the dishwasher and found the inlet tubing had a tear in the accordion part of the tube. I searched online for the model number and was directed to PartSelect. I ordered the inlet tubing, and it only took a few days to get to me. I then watched the video and was able to install the new tubing.
PartSelect is a life saver and I saved lots of money by not having to call a repairman.

Water leaking, spray arm melted
This dishwasher is pretty old and I live in a rental. When I moved in, the dishwasher leaked every time and it would had been nearly impossible to get the landlord to do any work. I read other repair stories on partselect and figured out it was the spray arm assembly. At some point the arm got detached and laid on top of the heater coil. Once it was melted and the water holes were distorted, the water shot at the door in some way to leak out the front. I replaced the part by just pushing the center part until it clicked on the bottom---- no tools were needed! The dishwasher works like a champ now. The dishes get clean the first time and no leaks on the floor. I read from other comments that the part was blue and it didn't match the original color. That wasn't as important as having a functional dishwasher. The delivery was delayed because of the health crisis, but once the warehouse sent an email that the part was shipped, I received it as was promised. All in all, I was pleased with the service and part. If there is another situation in the future, I would definitely consider using partselect again. Thank you

Half the wheels were missing from the lower rack.
So easy it shouldn't even count as a repair, really. The dishwasher, there when I bought the place, had a lower rack that wouldn't roll out as it should. That's because there were no wheels on the left side.
The rack lifts out easily. These wheels snap on to small protrusions from the wire rack.

broken rack rollers
Two rollers on the lower rack were missing and one was flattened. I popped off the bad roller and snapped the three new rollers in place, all by hand. Took about 60 seconds.

The spring on the door broke.
Removed the screws holding the dishwasher in the counterspace. Pulled it out far enough to re-attach the new spring, scoot it back in place, and put the screws back to hold it in, and attach the plate to the bottom that was taken out first. Good to go.

I pulled out the dishwasher removed the two heating element insulated wires and removed both threaded brass nuts and replaced them both. Problem solved. Luckily I have a local parts and repair store with a repairman that knows every part of every appliance ever made (no kidding, I have yet to stump him with a part or question). He did not have the parts, told me to go to partselect.com order two nuts, replace them both at the same time, and fix it myself because its an easy repair and not worth paying hundreds of dollars, if you can use a wrench. He was right, and partselect.com had the right parts, at the right price, easy to find and order, and I can impress the wife with my repair skills. Thanks again!

dishwasher leaked around the door
First I pulled out the old gasket, used this to measure for the new gasket, cut to right length, pushed new gasket into the track and washed a load of dishes. No leaks! This took about 2 minutes to complete.

Heating Element Seal and Nut
Never worked on a dishwasher before but quickly learned that on this particular one, it's only this thin little brass nut that tightens down the element from the underside of the washer. If not tight enough, water drips right down onto the electrical connections. In this case water began to drip and the heat from the electrical current began melting a clear rubber shield thing. Luckily I was home during the cycle and figured out the problem. Great website that seems to have all necessary parts for my washer. Quick shipment!

dishwasher was leaking at heating element connections
Both heating element brass nuts had a split in them. They had fallen off the heating element and were hanging on the electrical wires. I removed the wires from the heating element and removed the brass nuts from the wires. I then screwed the new nuts on the heating element and reattached the wires. problem solved. I want to thank you for having the parts I needed as Sears had discontinued them for this Kenmore appliance.
