Dishes not getting clean
I asked my husband if I ordered the parts would he change them for me, and when they arrived, it looked so simple I did it myself. I removed the washer arm by unscrewing the disk that holds it in place. I took the metal heat deflectors off the old arm (they just easily pried off) and put them on the new. I lifted off the large round "plate" that the arm rests on and cleaned the underside. Then put it back together in reverse order.

Dishwasher door leaking severely
I decided to do some regular maintenance on the dishwasher. The spray arm and components have been caked from our hard water and soap. I unwittingly broke the seal on a portion of the spray arm to try and clean. I did not know it was sealed, thought it could snap. The broken seal created a high pressure stream that pushed the door enough to let water leak out.

Replacing it was easy. Unscrewed the plastic nut, lifted out spray arm and disc, unsnapped arm from disc and replaced new one. Leak is now fixed. This part was much much cheaper than i imagined and brought new life to our dishwasher. Best.Store.Ever.

silverware basket was cracked/broken and spoons etc. fell through
seeing as how my husband was out of town, I inserted a regular flatware knife in each of the four slots that held the handle in place on the basket. I then slowly pushed down on the handles of the knives on opposite sides of each other to unlock the handle from two slots on the basket and then went on to push down on the other two flatware knives on the opposite sides...sure enough, the handle came right off...less than 5 minutes in all to take the old handle off from the old basket and then snap it into place onto my newly acquired basket.

Dishwasher making loud noise
My dishwasher started making a loud screeching noise so I took apart the bottom assembly of the dishwasher to see where the noise was coming from. I found the part that had come loose and went to partselect.com to see if I could find the replacement part. I quickly found the part and the price was very reasonable. The repair was fairly easy. Once I pulled out the bottom rack in the dishwasher I unscrewed the plastic piece that held the rotating spray assembly. Once that was unscrewed 3 pieces were removed. A nutdriver was then used to remove a large cover at the bottom of the dishwasher. Once it was out of the way I could reach the discharge housing assembly with the nutdriver to remove it. I swapped the parts over to the new discharge housing then reassembled and it works like new again!

bottom of basket fell apart & silverware would fall though holes
Replacement basket did not include handle so needed to pry old handle off broken unit to use on the new one. Used screw driver to pop loose clips which attached to basket. Had to stick tooth picks broken in half under them to hold out until all four clips were opened at once - then handle could be pulled off. Easily snapped it back on to the new basket and repair was done. Can't get any easier than this!

plastic in silverware basket cracked so utensils kept falling through/getting stuck
The basket did not include the handle (something I didn't notice when I ordered it). I simply removed the handle from the old basket and placed it on the new basket.

Having utensils falling through was really getting old. This was $25 well spent.

The spray diverter assembly came off and was locater under the rack next to the heating element - heat melted the plastic diverter and lid
My nephew actually put the new part back on for me. The main problem I had was getting both parts of the diverter ordered at the same time. I had to order the lid after the diverter came in the mail! I did not realize it was a two-part replacement piece. I learned later that the lid was a separate part.

Some of bottom wire in the silverware basket had rusted out allowing silverware to fall through and interfere with rotating arm.
The "repair" was actually a replacement. My wife did it. She took out the old, damaged basket and dropped in the new, replacement basket. She removed the slotted lids because she doesn't think they are necessary and she doesn't like them. I got the old basket for holding small items in my workshop. The lids will be thrown away, unless I can come up with a use for them.
