upper spray would fall off
Without any specific directions with the part (which would had been nice. If it wasn't for my husband I wouldn't have known where to start.) I had to carfully pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet (it wasn't heavy) to unplug the power supply. Then we unscrewed 2 screws on the top and the upper arm connection came off. We replaced it with the new one, screwed it back on, reconnected the power supply and pushed the dishwasher back where it belonged. It worked out very well.
Also I want to say I am very happy with the length of time it took to get my part to me. (1 day) I was washing dishes it no time.

Thank You

water left in dishwasher after wash
Open door, remove lower wash rack, remove 4 screws holding screen in rear of inside tub with 1/4 inch socket. Unscrew piston and nut assy for checkvalve, sounds like a mouthful but it is only 1 part. Checkvalve has 2 small ears on it which allow you to twist it out, it has treads on it. Flapper on check valve flapper rots away and water pumps back into tub instead of being routed to drain line to garbage disposal. Part with shipping was just over $20.

Wrench (Adjustable)
Inch Of Clean Water Left In Machine After Each Cycle
First let me say, it's so easy even a caveman can do it. I removed the water out of the bottom. Then I removed the cover in the very back of the machine with a wrench. As soon as I did that, I could see the piston. Next, I twisted the white piston out with my fingers (this was the hardest part). I could see the piston had partially disintigrated. I ordered a new one, had it delivered in a few days, and put it all back in reverse. It took minutes. Thanks to the guy that posted his story, I was able to fix mine for $18.

Dishes were not coming out clean and water was standing after the wash cycle was complete.
Removed filter/screen by unscrewing 2 screws with a nut driver and then unscrewed the old Piston and Nut assembly and simply screwed in the new part. Problem solved and my dishes are much cleaner and the water is draining out completely. Easy fix for this frustrating problem.

Removed filter screen with the socket set, removed the piston and nut assembly with pliers, and installed the new piston and nut assembly. Put filter screen back in with hex head screws. During the process, I opened the float regulator and cleaned it out too. Water backup problems solved.

Had a leak in the line from the pump underneath up to the spayer attachment on the top.
Replaced the old hose with new one; very inexpensive part, only cost me 10 dollars. Way better than replacing the entire dish washer. Thank you so much for providing the "do it yourselfer" the items for simple and easy tasks. :)

Top of hose was deterioated and leaking
Remove wooden top and pulled out hose from spray arm. Removed spray arm. Installed top hose fitting using a bit of silicone grease for ease of installation. Reinstall spray arm. Stuff hose in same position as old hose. Lay dishwasher on it's back and remove old hose from pump by removing clamp. Replace new hose in same position and reclamp. Stand dishwasher back up and reinstall top. Wife is now happy! I could do this again in half of the time.
