GSM2200V50BB General Electric Dishwasher - Instructions

Removed all 8 wheels and inserted the new one after inserting the axles into each wheel. Replacement wheels had a much better connection to the bottom rack and do not anticipate any problems in the future.

Took screws out of door panel to get to the latch and replaced old latch with new one. Super easy

We ordered a new lower shelve and slid it in on the rollers and it is secure and works fine.

See GE web site for repair instructions. Take out screws at top of door. Slide unit out there is a spring on each side of the door just look at the good one for details. Easy fix. About 30 minutes.

The instructions provided are very good if I had done before. My concern was getting the gasket to sit properly at the bottom where you cannot see. I removed the inside of the door (7 screws) and this made it easier to assure gasket sat properly in the track. may have cost an extra 15 minutes but worth it. If I do again I will take door apart again, however I think this is fixed and should not need attention again.

Repair was easy. However, this did not solve the problem.

I followed the video instructions on removing the rack slide end cap to prevent breaking it and it was very easy to remove and replace the broken one. I attached the new rack rollers and voila we were back in business. I was about to order a new dishwasher the night before for $5oo! Thankfully the stores website wasn't working so I couldn't. I decided to look online to find out if it was easy just to replace the parts. Looks like I saved close to $500 just replacing those parts! AWESOME!!!!!Thank you for a user friendly website. Removed the white end of the top track. Pulled off the remnants of the rack roller. Slide the rack roller wheel into the track and popped the other end on the top rack (looked at the other rack rollers to see how it fit.) After that, I put the end back on the track.... Note what is the top and what is the bottom of the track end. Realizing that there is a wider area on the track to slide part of the white track end through to get it on without much effort.

Removed screws and replaced the part. It couldn't of been earlier. Only problem this kit didn't include a toe kick and we are having a hard time finding it.

I connected one end of hose to the drain using a hose clamp and screwdriver then connected the other end to the dishwasher using anouther hose clamp and a screwdriver..

removed the end caps and took the rack out of the dish washer.

found right front rack roller bad and replaced.

slide rack back into dishwasher and replace end caps.

Used a small flat head screw driver to remove the rail end covers (2) and removed the rack. Used my thumb to push the snap on roller assembly off the rack. The new rollers snap right back on the rack with just fing pressure. Re-installed the rack and then just pushed the rail end covers back on.

Very Simple Repair to a great machine. First problem in 13 years and still works great.

took the front pieces off the front of each bar and placed the new rollers in place. Put the front cover peices back. ....that's it! The only thing i used the screwdriver for was to help remove the pieces, one was more difficult than the other.

First, end caps were removed from support rails to free the washer rack. This is a little tricky - flexible rear finger of cap is bent back, then rotated inboard to permit end cap to slide out. Ten top wash rack is rolled out of washer. Old roller support assembies are pried loose and then snapped off their clamp locations on the upper wash rack, one at a time. Then the new rollers are snapped on in same way, except no tools are required.
Two of the old rack rollers were clearly worn out from nearly 10 years of normal operation, where plastic shaft is a bearing surface.
