GSM2200V50BB General Electric Dishwasher - Instructions

We ordered a new lower shelve and slid it in on the rollers and it is secure and works fine.

Simpy went onto partselect.com and walked through getting the part, plugged it in after receiving in less than 2 days a voila - we are back in business

My GE dishwasher had a problem. The upper rack would fall into the lower rack when loaded breaking dishes! Turns out, the front rollers on the upper rack were broken so that the supports would just pull out. So, I found the parts on this website easily. I then took off the plastic plug on the support which is easy to do. There is a flange you bend towards the rear of the dishwasher to release the plug. Once released you have access to the rollers, which just snap off easily. The new ones snap on easily. Reverse the cap removal, and you are done!

See GE web site for repair instructions. Take out screws at top of door. Slide unit out there is a spring on each side of the door just look at the good one for details. Easy fix. About 30 minutes.

The instructions provided are very good if I had done before. My concern was getting the gasket to sit properly at the bottom where you cannot see. I removed the inside of the door (7 screws) and this made it easier to assure gasket sat properly in the track. may have cost an extra 15 minutes but worth it. If I do again I will take door apart again, however I think this is fixed and should not need attention again.

Repair was easy. However, this did not solve the problem.

I connected one end of hose to the drain using a hose clamp and screwdriver then connected the other end to the dishwasher using anouther hose clamp and a screwdriver..

Removed screws and replaced the part. It couldn't of been earlier. Only problem this kit didn't include a toe kick and we are having a hard time finding it.

I followed the video instructions on removing the rack slide end cap to prevent breaking it and it was very easy to remove and replace the broken one. I attached the new rack rollers and voila we were back in business. I was about to order a new dishwasher the night before for $5oo! Thankfully the stores website wasn't working so I couldn't. I decided to look online to find out if it was easy just to replace the parts. Looks like I saved close to $500 just replacing those parts! AWESOME!!!!!Thank you for a user friendly website. Removed the white end of the top track. Pulled off the remnants of the rack roller. Slide the rack roller wheel into the track and popped the other end on the top rack (looked at the other rack rollers to see how it fit.) After that, I put the end back on the track.... Note what is the top and what is the bottom of the track end. Realizing that there is a wider area on the track to slide part of the white track end through to get it on without much effort.

removed the end caps and took the rack out of the dish washer.

found right front rack roller bad and replaced.

slide rack back into dishwasher and replace end caps.

Took off the end cap- hardest part- took some twisting-be careful not to break it. After that slid out the old part and just popped the new one in. Then it took a little while again to put the end cap back in. No tools needed.

I just had to play around with it to attach the new cap without breaking it.....never did this before but eureka! it worked.

took the front pieces off the front of each bar and placed the new rollers in place. Put the front cover peices back. ....that's it! The only thing i used the screwdriver for was to help remove the pieces, one was more difficult than the other.
