difficulty rolling the lower rack in and out of dishwasher
Replaced all 8 of the wheels and axles (the old axles wouldn't hold the wheels in place any longer). Replaced the tub gasket because of cuts from knives. Both fixes were relatively easy to do, although directions for the tub gasket would have been nice!

Door had no resistance/no balance/would fall open
First, remove the bottom front covers (two parts four screws). Second, remove the two screws at the top that secure the dishwasher to the counter. Third, gently pull away the dishwasher from underneath the counter just far enough to see and be able to remove the door spring(s) - one on each side. Fourth, remove the existing hinge arm link(s) if not already broken off, replace with the new one(s). Note that the door hinge goes on the door (front) side of the spring and the other side fits into a groove on the door arm - the other end of the spring attaches to one of the 3 available holes on the frame at the bottom. It would be a good idea to replace the hinge arm links on both sides even if only one is broken. Make sure that the door has the right tension (each spring can be hooked in 1 of 3 holes to adjust the tension). Then gently push the dishwasher back under the counter. Finally, replace the screws under the counter and replace the covers on the bottom front. All of this should take no more than 15-20 minutes. This was an easy job!

The wheels kept falling off the bottom rack of the dishwasher
My husband took off all the wheels and changed the axles. We had friends who had the same problem and they led us to your web site.

Axle attachment breaks on lower rack
Remove all wheels on one side. Use pliers to remove broken axles from wheels. Pop in new axles, then go to lower rack and attach to rack by pushing axle pinch mechanism onto rack support. New axles do not look like old ones—they are improved.

New wheels for lower rack on dishwasher.
Ordered on a Friday and parts arrived Sat. No tools required. Pieces easily slipped into place. Dishwasher is all fixed. This site is much easier to use than GE's. Will use PartSelect for all future replacement parts.

Wheels keep falling off dish rack.
So easy and the posts on the site were incredibly helpful in determing what part i needed. The wheels on the dish rack inside the dishwasher kept falling off. I had to keep lifting the dish rack in and out of the dish washer to load and unload it. Unbelievably annoying. I popped the old wheel axels out of the exisiting wheels and replaced them with the new wheel axels I ordered from PartSelect. Then I attached the wheels back on the dish rack and it was right back to normal.

Missing wheel and damaged wheel
We had a missing wheel (probably melted in the dishwasher) and a broken wheel for about 6 months. Everyone in the house argued about who had to load/unload the dishwasher because the bottom rack would not move properly and was a hassle. I ordered 8 replacement wheels and axles and they arrived super fast. I was able to fix the problem in less than 10 minutes. I love my dishwasher again!! Yay!!

Rack does not roll correct, falls into tub
Removed old wheels and axles, installed new axles in wheels, clipped into place. I purchased new wheels and axles. Probably only needed the axles. The front wheels are narrower than the rear wheels. This probably contributes to them falling off the track. Since I purchased 8 new wheels (all wide, now I know what the second part number was for)I put all wide on. Seems to be more stable that way. New straight style axle clip appears more robust than the old side clip style. Thanks Parts select
