I unscrewed the lower spray arm and support assembly and then screwed the new part in. Very easy.

simply snap new one in place. I will have to say your service was fantastic. I received the new cap 2nd day. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to order something else if needed.

Remove end caps on the slides on the upper rack pulled old rack out put new rack in push end caps back in

Removed old gasket, cleaned grooves, installed new gasket

The motor/pump Kit I purchased could fix/be installed in any GE dishwasher made since 1970. I would guess that the one I have is about 15-20 years old. I encountered only one small problem with the kit------ a motor hanger that had to be bent a bit to fit correctly. Other than that it was a total breeze. The clear instructions included in the kit helped quite a bit. In 30 minutes or so ,I was done and our machine was back in operation

Dishwasher had flooded. Removed Dishwasher from cabinet and diagnosed problem. Found "PartSelect" on Internet and found Part kit available at reasonable price, in stock to ship immediately. Part #PS260801 [WD26x10013] contained enough parts to make installation easy and also I was able to cure discovery of slit in drain hose that attached to dishwasher drain outlet because kit included a short piece of hose and a hose clamp that allowed hose that had been trimmed to connect to outlet.

The original part number was no longer available, but Parts Select was the only repair part service that seemed to have a replacement. open the dishwasher door and removed five screws on interior panel. Remove panel to expose control board and remove miniature connecting plugs. Remove three screws to release control panel. Replace new control panel in reverse order. The locking handle was only slightly tricky to get in position at the same time as getting interior panel in position; four hands may be better than two. Maybe a twenty or thirty minute job, i didn't time it. Of you own a phillips screwdriver it is a no-brainer.

I took the dishwasher out from under the sink and looked at the pump and motor, saw that the cooling fan that this old style motor used was broke. Ordered this kit and installed it. I didn't even look at the directions that simple of a swap. Thank God!

Followed easy instructions and completed repair in less than 30 minutes.

Instead of purchasing a new dishwasher, I elected to replace the motor/pump assembly which the existing was noisy and leaking water. To start to took pictures of the existing assembly and marked the wiring connections. I read the instructions a few times until I fully understood and had the necessary parts identified. The only problem was the bracket that holds the solenoid has two holes for mounting the drain feedback bracket were not threaded. I was able to tap the holes (metric) and mount the bracket. Caution must taken not damage the solenoid coil.

The three top mounting points broke from the control panel that fasten it to the door assembly. Vent assembly mounting point also snapped. All occurred when movers tried moving the dishwasher by the control panel handle. Removed the nine screws from the control panel (six door frame and three already broken top mounting points). Position the door lock swing arm to the middle of its left/right travel, and remove the rear panel to expose the inner door. Disconnect electricity. Even though the washer is off, 110 is present at the door. Using the new control panel as a guide locate all the mounting points (screws) for the control board, sequencer, and vent control. Be careful to note the how the lever control is mounted that is located under the sequencer. Pull black and white connectors from the control board and any other connectors that interfere with the removal of the control panel. Remove control panel and reverse the order for assembly. NOTE the insert escutcheon #902 (name plate) couldn't be found anywhere, can be removed from the old control panel and reused. Very carefully working from the bottom of the name plate use your fingernail (not a sharp object) and start to work the plate loose from the control panel. Work to the end without the brand name until you loosen that end. Slowly pull up at a 45 deg angle and it will slowly come loose. Be patient. They use a sticky rubberized glue. Good luck!

Too easy- what made it easier was this is a portable roll-around unit I could lay on it's back. Loosen the two clamps around the washer pump, hook up the drain solenoid, washer motor wires, attach the motor hanger, that's basically it. It took longer to make sure I was working from the right set of instructions- this pump covers several models. Once I had that right, it was really a snap. Now the unit is so quiet. It once sounded like a jet engine in the kitchen, now it runs so quiet you can hear the water splashing around inside- a big improvement. We should be able to hang onto this thing for a while longer.

A loose neutral wire in the service box caused a short (possibly initiated by a power surge) tripping a GFI and powering down five outlets and the hardwired dishwasher supply. Checking voltage through various elements after removing the inside door panel revealed power up to the control board. Ordered and received the control board in a couple of days. Analysis of the problem took 1-2 hours but replacement took less than 10 minutes.
