GSD5152F02CC General Electric Dishwasher - Instructions

Looked up possible causes on your website. Website stated that more than 50% of time the cause was the piston and nut assembly. Removed the piston and nut assembly in bottom of unit behind screen on rear wall and saw that the gasket seal was completely gone . Ordered the part. took less than 10 minutes to install. Tested the unit and it drained completely. Thank you as i was looking at a more difficult repair if the pump had to be replaced.Repair cost less than $20.00.Before changing piston and nut assembly I cleaned the strainer and sump. disconnected drain hose and checked for blockage . i than checked your website that listed the piston assembly as the culprit more than 50% of the time. The wheel kit came with axel's to support them. They snapped in place in seconds. No instructions provided, but installing method was obvious.

very easy old part out new part in direct replacement, fit right in and it is working. Great deal and about half of the price than ge website. Thank you.

Removed the lower rack. Took off the old wheels. Put the axles on the new wheels which took a little manpower, but became easier once you did a couple (there are 8 wheels). Then snapped the new wheels on the rack which was really simple. The new design is much improved to the old one. The wheels glide better, then they ever did. We're sorry we didn't think of this repair years ago and the cost was a fraction of the cost of a new dishwasher.

Repair was very easy Disconnected power source. Removed screws on panel. removed 2 screws holding switch assembly. removed plugs and placed in new switch removed old switch and replaced. replaced screws check for function before replacing panel no problems Thanks for the help

We ordered our motor and pump assembly. When it arrived we followed the instructions that came with it. We had no problem with the instructions. We found it to be really easy. I was very happy since this happened 4 days before Thanksgiving. Thanks for the easy instructions, my husband got my dishwasher repaired in plenty of time for our Thanksgiving family get together.

As suggested. Pull washer, remove screws from top and replace with new part. Very simple and easy if you follow steps furnished by this site.

Had to pull the dishwasher from under the counter to access the water inlet valve. Disconnected the hoses from the inlet assembly. Removed the inlet assembly from the dishwasher frame. Installed the new assembly and reconnected the hoses. Plugged the dishwasher in, selected a cycle to run to check for leaks.

The dishwasher was in a rental so I didn't want to spend the money for a new one. The part was expensive compared to a new (cheap) dishwasher. The order was shipped promptly and arrived when I expected even though it was Christmas time. The part fit perfectly and everything is back in place.

remove water connection; shut off circuit breaker ; follow the suplied directions; reassemble washer . job done - leak gone. Wife happy.

Removed screws on the drain pump filter screens at the back of the dishwasher, unscrewed the check valve, screwed in the replacement unit, and re-affixed the filter screens.

I lived with the drain problem for 6 months and reviewed on line trouble shooting which all pointed me to a pump or solenoid valve problem. I pulled the unit and disassembled everything before noticing that the rubber washer/stopper at the top of the check valve had erroded away and was not preventing water from pumping back into the cabinet when the drain pump kicked on. Always check the condition of this check valve first if you dishwasher is not draining properly. It was so easy once I found the bad part.
