Dish washer spray arm clogged and not spraying
We tried cleaning the sprayer by unclogging the spray holes but it didn't last very long. I decided to see what it would cost to replace the piece. I have used this site before and love how easy it is to find the part you need. The sites have good pictures so you feel very good that you are ordering the correct part. They also have helpful suggestions for problem.. I ordered the part and it arrived two days later and we installed it right away...I started the dishwasher for a test run and forgot how loud it use to spray..The prices are also great just a service call from a repair man would of cost me triple what I got my new part.

Leak from motor output/pump input shaft
Cut power and water flow to the appliance. Laid appliance on its side, removed the electrical lead from the motor. Remove the mount from the back of the motor and loosened the two clamps- one to the sump and one to the discharge tube. Removed and replaced the pump/motor assy. with the new one, reinstalled the clamps, rear mount and electrical lead. Righted the unit and fired it up. Worked fine.

Water leaked on floor from corner od dishwasher door
I carefully read over comments from other people's experience first. I removed all the screws from the inside panel and had several heavy books to weigh down the door. This allowed me to remove the white inside panel, turn it to get easy access to the seal at the bottom. All that was necessary was to clean the area of builted up soap etc, start pulling old seal off from one side and at the same time insert the new seal in same track and groove, being careful to have the new seal lined up in the same manner as the old. The whole process was rather simple and required very little effort.

dishwasher would not fill with water and cycle
first off if you can understand the problem DO NOT CALL THE GE REPAIR SERVICE AND HAVE A REPAIRMAN COME TO YOUR HOME you will save over $300.00. a mistake i made, it cost me $79.95 just for him to tell me the dishwasher was broken and then i was told it would cost me over $300.00 to fix it. WHEN I TALKED TO PARTSELECT I FOUND THE WATERVALVE FOR A LITTLE OVER $55.00 WITH SHIPPING IT TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES TO DISCONNECT THE DISHWASHER AND REMOVE THE OLD PART AND ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME TO REPLACE THE NEW ONE THEY EVEN HAD GOOD INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU NEEDED THEM. I FOUND PARTSELECT SERVICE TO BE A VERY GOOD BUSINESS TO WORK WITH. ROY F BURTNETT

The washer didn't seemed to clean very well
Each arm was held in place by one nut. Using a nut driver, I it backed out, replaced arm and then screwed nut back in. Hardest part was positioning myself over the open door. After all the hard work it paid off. Dishes are cleaner now.

My dishes were not getting cleaned
The problem started with my dishes slowly becoming less and less clean wash after wash. To diagnose the problem, I turned on the dishwasher and waited for the clean cycle to start. After it did I opened the door and peaked inside to see the top and bottom spray arms were moving but not the middle one. I took it out and stuck it under the faucet to make sure it wasn't clogged and everything seemed good. So after much deliberations, I decided that it must be the pump, so I replaced it. NOPE! That was costly. I then read something on the internet about how the middle arm has two jets on the bottom so I checked mine and sure enough, they were clogged. I tried to clean it but I could not get the junk out. So I decided to but the spray arm and the arm holder(because I damaged it)and now my dishwasher runs great.

One of the wheels and hangers went missing.
Check website, order part. Hardest part was determining which was the right part. Needed the axle--I call it the hanger. I had previously called and ordered, but only received the wheel with no way to attach it. Push the axle into the wheel. Push the axle onto the rack. Since it was new, it didn't slip right on, and had to push it hard. (However, when it snapped on, three of the other wheels and axles came off.) Had to put them back on as well. Much easier, as they were older and not as snug. Total time: Took longer to open the package than put it on.

Valve failed and washer overflowed.
Immediately shut off water supply to the washer. After ordering and receipt ot part: Removed base panel, turned off power, disconnected wire, water supply line and screws attaching washer to kitchen counter. Pulled the washer out and turned it on its side with the valve on top. Removed and replaced the valve, returned the washer to the upright position, pushed it back under the counter, reconnected all services, screws to counter and base panel, turned on the water and power. Took two hours since I needed take a trip to the hardware store to replace a right angle water fitting .
