FFBD2406NB4A Frigidaire Dishwasher - Instructions

Pulled the dishwasher out, rolled it onto its right side, removed the old pump by removing the 2 electeical connectors and 3 #20 torque screws, and replaced the pump. The most annoying thing was it dumping water on the floor. The rest was relatively easy.

if the wire they snap on was bent it needs to be straightend.......they just snap on. easy to install but wish they had better wheels so this problem would be solved. My 2 sons have same brand dishwashers and have same problem.

I removed the two screws and then moved the dishwasher out a little bit (about 6 inches). I pushed the dishwasher toward one side to make room for me to change the spring with my hand and repeated the same procedure for the other side. After the spring change, I turned an old dishwasher to a new one.

My future son in law did it. Looked at instructions on the app for the part. Didn't take very long.

While trouble shooting the issue, noticed that all switches worked and there was sufficient power going to control board but still nothing working. Ordered new control board and with only a Phillip's head screwdriver, I was able to remove cover and control board to replace. DW works like new after the repair.

Still have a slight leak, but I'm thinking it may just need time to seat itself.

Removed the two screws that mount to count top pulled the dishwasher out to see how the spring was attached , installed the new spring and the job was done the job it took about 15 mins. to complete.

Just so simple take out the Phillips screws take off the cover three screws hold on the board. Un plug the connectors place the new board in and replace the screws. Simple plug and play.

Watching a YouTube video that was attached to an email, I was able to install my new dishwasher filter in no time without any tools. Thank you.

I removed the bottom drawer and glass trap in order to remove the old melted down washer arm. Once those parts were removed I was able to easily secure the new replacement be ensuring that it was turned enough and fit down securely (side note, if you don't hear the arm click or snap into place, it isn't secure). The part works just fine, but sadly I think I have another problem with my washer, but I will figure it out.

took out the screws holding the inside of the door on, pulled out the old switch, plugged in the new and put the screws back in done in 20 min.

The original lower spray arm had one end break loose the metal retainer end. I used a temporary small hose clamp to fix as I waited for the new lower arm to arrive.

The design is very easy.... pull up on the OLD and then just push DOWN on the new arm into the bottom.

My dishwasher started leaking at the beginning of the summer. We didn't know what to do, but didn't want to call an appliance repairman. Towards fall, a friend came over and pulled it out and found the heating element brass nut which was broken. We put it back in and washed dishes the old-fashioned way for another 3 months after that. A few days later, we got the part, I pulled the dishwasher out again, screwed on the new nut by hand and put it back into place. We're in business!

I measured the length of the gasket, using the old one to measure the length. Cut it to that length and installed it. VERY SIMPLE TO DO! But it didn't stop my leak--turns out there was a small leak in the bottom of the tub that was easily fixed with some silicone. The dishwasher's like new now!
