Replace sump gasket
#1 rule, make sure you valve off the water before removing any hoses. Remove wire trays inside dishwasher and then pull out dishwasher far enough to disconnect water line and power cord. Remove center piece and screen covering sump inside the dishwasher. Turn dishwasher on its side and remove hoses to sump and pump. Disconnect power to sump pump. Loosen retaining nuts that secure the sump and remove. Replace old gasket on sump with new. Turn dishwasher upright. Be careful with placement of new gasket when reinserting sump so that the gasket doesn't come out of position and the sump is centered properly. Secure with retaining nuts from bottom. Reconnect power connector and hoses to sump. Pour enough water into the dishwasher to verify gasket doesn't leak... look with flashlight under dishwasher for signs of water dripping from sump. Reinstall screen and centerpiece in sump inside the dishwasher. Reconnect water line and power cord. Run through wash cycle while monitoring for leaks under dishwasher. Reinstall wire trays.
Piece of cake as long as you get the gasket installed properly and the sump centered correctly... do not overtighten the retaining nuts or it may force the gasket out of position when the screen is secure with the center locking piece over the sump.

Water fill hose leaked.
It is rather easy to repair. After you remove the screws that secure the top of the dishwasher to the countertop you can slide the disherwasher out far enough to gain access to the hose. The hose pulls off after you slide the spring clips down the hose far enough so they no longer grab. Then simply reverse the order and you're done. Less than 30 minutes and you should no longer have to hand wash your dishes!

The latch was always hard to operate. My wife went to open the dishwasher door and the plastic handle broke off.
Delivery of this part was really fast. I ordered very early on a Thursday morning and the package was at my house Friday afternoon. This was a pretty simple repair. First you take the front panel off. There is an upper panel where the controls are and a lower finished apnel. Open the door, the screws are on the inside face of the door. Put a towel on the floor so the panel doesn't drop and scratch the floor or get damaged. Unscrew the panels so you can get to the door handle, it is held in with two torx screws (star shaped head). Take the handle off and remove the wires on the door switch. Installation is the reverse, mind that you install the wires on the right leads. The handle works better than the original ever did.

The handle broke on the dishwasher and needed screwdriver to open the latch
I took out 6 screws, the face plate just hung down. Make sure the breaker is off. there were two screws that held the switch and handle in place took those two out. Disconnected the four wires on the microswitchs and placed them on the new handle. Put the diswasher back together. Turned breaker on and worked great. But it started to leak. This is why they give you the gasket. The new latch does not always match to the same seal o the gasket. Replaced the gasket took less them two min. Ran the dishwasher again no leaks and the handle you can use one finger to unlock.

Dishwasher was leaking
I turned the power off at the circuit breaker. I then took the access panel off the dishwasher at the bottom. I pulled the wire off the connector. I used a plied to remove the broken washer and replaced with new part. I put everything back in reverse order and ran the dishwasher. I than checked for leaks over two days while the machine was running and everything was fine. Thank you Parts Select for saving me $500!

door won't spring back up to close
New right away when we heard the sound, the spring broke. Easy to replace, pull dishwasher out from under countertop, usually held in place by two screws into countertop. Remove screws, pull out dishwasher. Close door, springs will now have the most slack in them. One spring located on each side. Remove spring from one side and replace with new spring to ensure proper spring placement. No actual tools needed as spring rests on a bracket attached to door and other end of spring goes through hole in bottom of dishwasher rack. open door to test for tension as there are several holes to choose from. .

Upper spray arm falls off during the wash cycle
My upper spray arm attaches to the upper dish rack. It comes in four parts: the spray arm, the bracket which attaches it to the rack, the water funnel, and a plastic nut that holds the pieces together. The nut was worn and wouldn't hold so I replaced that piece and it works great. It took less than one minute to fix.

The small "nubs" on the assembly had worn off.
After several years of use and cleaning the small "nubs" that held the locking peice on the assembly under the jet arm had worn off. This allowed the whole thing to spin and the dishes weren't getting clean. Finding the part on the site was easy, it arrived amazingly fast and all is up and working great. I have used Parts Select 2 or 3 times in the past and have always had the same great results. Saved me a bunch in repair bills. Thanks

Original hose needed replacement due to leaking holes
The replacement hose was not as long and the original and therefore did not fit into the track made for the original one. Though it was long enough to work, an additional 4 inches would have been an exact fit.
As a result, the replacement had to be duct taped to the side of the dishwasher to hold it in place. Otherwise, the new hose was of better quality that the flimsy original. All in all, I could have picked up 3 feet of rubber hose from an auto parts or hardware store cheaper and done the job just as well, if not better.

Dish washer not heating dishes wet when cycle was completed
Internet search found high limit switch as primary failure, removed dishwasher existing part looked new, no signs of wear as was expected. Second failure was the heating element, I ordered the part; At the same time I found a random youtube video, that had me check the continuity of the heater and tested good. Then the video indicated the heater relay may have one leg that has lost the solder and stops the heater element from working. I took the control panel a part and the heater relay had the same failure, one leg had a missing solder joint. Using some flux, solder and soldering iron I repaired the connection and added some addition solder to the circuit. Reassembled and the dishwasher is heating as it was before everything is working as expected!
(P.S. The heater relay failure appears to be a common problem, but the actual root cause [relay failure due to poor solder joint] is never reported back to the company, they just hear the heater element stopped working and they never fix the real issue because the customers are throwing out the dishwasher, when it could have been repaired with a simple fix. More importantly it should be something that is investigated as it may needs an engineering redesign. but can't fix what you don't know about or fail to investigate. I did purchase a new relay to replace the existing one, to be installed upon arrival).
Once again a random youtube video identifies and resolves a problem, that would have had me purchasing a new dishwasher, and maybe this is all planned engineering obsolescence.
When will get smart dishwasher that have sensors or at least codes that report the failures correctly, to make DIY repairs?

Spray arm came off and melted mon heating element
Takes longer to open the machine and remove the lower basket than to do repair.
Snap arm and support together, align and twist in machine to lock in place.
Save yourself some time and buy the support. High risk it can be broken while being removed from the arm. I am glad I purchased a new one and didn't take the risk.
