The plastic handle broke on the door latch assembly
I removed 6 screws to get to the door latch, then removed 2 screws to remove the broken latch assembly. Changed out 4 wires, reinstalled the 2 screws that attached the latch to the door, thenreinstall the 6 screws that assemble the door back together. Everything fit and works properly. Thanks guys, your service was great.

Door latch assembly and striker malfunction
Both the door latch assembly and strike broke on the dishwasher. I was happy to find both parts available at PartSelect.com. Simply removed mounting screws so I could pull the dishwasher out, removed the old strike, disconnected the 4 wire attachments and removed the ddor latch assembly, and re-assembled with the new parts. Pretty easy job- the only unusual thing was that you need a torx screwdriver for the latch assembly.

Dishwasher was leaking out of door seal. Sent PartSelect the brand and model number of the dishwasher and they did the rest. The replacement part was exactly the same as the old part. Delivery was fast and efficient. Only took a few minutes to replace and the dishwasher is back in running condition
Pulled old gasket off with small hook. Replaced new gasket by pressing in with my fingers.

Dishwasher would not drain.
First I removed the spray tower. Then removed the spray impeller. Next there was a plate I removed. Under this plate was the lower drain impeller which was stripped out and would not engage the drive shaft.

Door latch snapped off
Viewing the instruction video provided online made my repair process extremely easy. Only thing that held me up was finding a tool to help me remove the torque screws from the latch. Thank goodness for inheriting my grandfather's tools and eventually finding the right bit. The latch came with a new gasket but I recommend not replacing it if it's not necessary. I did replace ours at first but it was too thick and caused our dishwasher to leak. So I placed our original gasket back after cleaning it up and it works just fine. This wife was able to complete this project with two kids under the age of 4 and a hyper border collie running around while the husband was at work.

Water inlet tube had worn a hole in it
Removed old hose and went to install new hose from Part Select. Part received was not the same as advertised. It was 6-8 inches shorter than the original hose. Would not make the necessary turns because of shorter length. I even went to Video instruction on installation even though I have been in Machine repair for 30 years , this video showed using the shorter hose and when installed in the video hose also had a kink because of hose length. Had to stop repair and go to hardware store and purchase a longer hose. This purchased hose from the hardware was 50% cheaper and actually worked. I also paid for 2-3 day shipping and received part 7 days later. I am very disappointed with Parts Select and am an owner of an Equipment Rental Facility and will never utilize Parts Select again.

drain impeller broke
took assembly apart down to the impeller. Worst part was getting the broken part of the impeller off of the pump shaft. With long nose vice grip plyers it was easy. Drawing is a bit confusing.

Latch handle broken
Removed 6 phillips head screws that hold the front panel in place...let the panel hang in place...then remove 2 torex screws that hold the handle to the dishwasher ( # 25 torex screw driver needed ).......then pry the wire connections off the old handle..remembering where they go on the new latch.....and reverse the process for the new handle install..and for the gasket just follow the inst's on the sheet that comes with the kit..very easy...but when you close the dishwasher with the new gasket..it's going to be very hard to close..( well for me it was )for the 1st few times...

Our latch had broke and and needed to be replaced.
This repair project was easy enough that my 15 yr old son had it almost all done without me. The hardest part was getting the wires unplugged from the old latch. Once we got the pliers out to help us get a grip, everything went smoothly!
This was a quick and easy fix for an older dishwasher that still works!
