Plastic Facia Panel was broken at handle
Removed old panel with about six screws. Removed all the buttons and reinstalled on new facia panel. Installed back on holder with two screws and reinstalled assembly. I was led to believe this replacement panel was made from stainless steel but it actually was the same plastic panel with a stainless finish. Same as the original. Pretty poor design to have the heavily used plastic handle held on with only two screws. I had epoxied it twice, but gave up and bought a new facia.

I did not know how to reach the part to be replaced so I took the base off and everything became complicated as I had to put it back, lots of electrical wires, houses aso.
To replace the part per se was simple. To put everything back in place was more difficult as I took the base of the dishwasher off and a lor of other parts in order to reach for the drain pump. The irony was, after I took appart the base I fount a clip on the internet showing how to do that job and that was a very simple thing, couple of screws to take off the toe plate and the interior liner of the door, to create good access to the drain pump. Really a job of 10 minutes at the max.

Dishwasher racks kept collapsing
Dishwasher racks are maddening. It takes years to understand how to make your dishes fit within your dishwasher. We just moved and nothing was working so I did something that I did not want to do--pay attention to the lower rack and figure out why it had a mind of its own. Well, the Bosch interior is filled with adjustable (that usually means problems) fingers. Well, it was not so. A piece was missing that supported the "hand" from which the fingers sprang. That support piece cost about a buck and was available and ultimately on my doorstep in a day or three. Take the part out of the bag, snap it on the hand and enjoy dish racks that don't flop around. Awesome indeed.

When loaded, the lower rack would fall off the rails
The problem and solution were described on the internet. I ordered a set of 4 wheels for $43+. I received one wheel. When I called Drew told me that the order was correct, but the description on the web page was wrong. He was to sent me a return label, but it has not arrived. Since then I went to the Bosch website, found the set of wheels (Part 10016657) for $42. They have been installed and the problem seems to have been fixed.

Droning noise coming from the dishwasher
First of all, I quessed at what was causing the droning noise. It seemed that it started when the d.w. was draining. I looked at various sites to try and figure out what was causing the noise but they all wanted money up front before they would discuss the problem. I gambled that it was the drain pump figuring that, oh well at least it's a part I won't have to replace in the future. I got lucky, the noise stopped with the part I bought. The only issues were the wiring harnesss wasn't the same as in the video I used. Overall, your service was very good. The thing I'm disappointed with is the fact that my expensive Bosch d.w. had to be repaired.

Wrong Part Order
Small child messed with keyboard during order process. Wrong part was ordered by mistake. Cancelled online order immediately as instructed online at Part Select. Those idiots still sent the wrong part anyway and I had to return repair part at my expense. These people don't bother to follow their on rules. Never would I order a repair part from these people again. I would rather just buy a new machine than use Part Select.
